Come April 11, Sunday Brunch will be slinking into the Palms in dark shades, clutching her Bloody Mary and wearing last night's party dress, when N9NE Group's Nove Italiano restaurant launches High Society, a trendy party-brunch featuring high-end cocktails, a decadent buffet brunch and some very unique live entertainment.
Guests can participate in their own post-party recovery at High Society's brunch stations which include salad, fresh fruits, and fish (they say it's brain food...). A true test of sobriety, there also will be a build-your-own frittata station. Hot items include Italian sausage and pepper hash, crispy pancetta and chicken-apple sausage, and a multitude of variations on eggs Benedict, as well as pizzas and paninis.
Unlike the neighboring Simon Brunch next door at Palms Place, which blends live cooking stations, buffet service and kitchen-made fare, High Society is buffet-only and affordably priced, in case you blew your weekend's party allowance at the clubs the night before…
Is the hair of the dog in order? Guests can pair brunch with $99 bottles of Champagne and half-bottles of spirits. To take the edge off, sounds will be provided by resident DJs Zen Freeman and Mark Stylz, as well as roaming live musicians.
And should you wish to commemorate a particularly monumental hangover with a portrait, live painters will be happy to oblige you tableside, entirely gratis.
High Society kicks off April 11 at 1 p.m. and continues every Sunday thereafter. Admission is free, brunch is $30 per person; table reservations are available at 702-942-6800.
Palms Casino Resort has come a long way since its "Real World" debut in 2002. The boutique property features three distinct towers and a diverse mix of bars and restaurants across a 95,000-square-foot casino.
Palms, which features more than 1,200 rooms and fantasy suites, is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation that will encompass an Ivory Tower room and suite redesign, new culinary additions, re-imagined gaming spaces and new, distinctive nightlife experiences.
In addition to newly designed rooms, during the first phase of the renovation, Palms will welcome Heraea, a high-energy American restaurant and lounge, and XISHI, a pan-Asian restaurant and lounge.
Fantasy Suites include the Hardwood Suite, the only hotel room in the world with its own basketball court.
Other amenities include the all-new Cantor Gaming® race and sports book, one of the few sports books in Las Vegas to include a poker room; SOCIAL; Scarlet; Chocolat Bistro; tonic bar; ghostbar; Pearl Concert Theater; Moon Nightclub; N9NE Steakhouse; Nove Italiano; Simon Restaurant & Lounge; Palms Pool & Bungalows; Kim Vō Salon; Drift Spa & Hammam; Brenden Theatres, a 14-theatre cineplex and more than 60,000 square-feet of meeting space.
