Fuel spill

All southbound lanes of Interstate 15 at the U.S. 95 interchange were reopened this afternoon after crews cleared the scene of a semi-truck accident and fuel spill.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chelita Rojas said a semi-truck ruptured its fuel tank at 12:38 p.m. after a "cement chute" from a cement truck struck the fuel tank. She said the fuel spilled onto the road and crews might need a couple of hours to clean it up.

No injuries were reported.
