An 18-year-old man arrested for allegedly exposing himself during the annual Boulder City High School Renaissance Festival on Saturday told police he pulled down his pants to retaliate against four juveniles who were harassing him.

Police estimated that more than 10 children, ages 7-12, witnessed Aaron Villegas-Bullock expose himself at the festival.

Villegas-Bullock is charged with nine counts of indecent or obscene exposure and was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on $9,000 bail. He also received a citation for allegedly consuming alcohol under the age of 21.

Witnesses told police Villegas-Bullock was intoxicated, verbally belligerent, pulling down his pants and exposing his buttocks and genitals near the restrooms and water park area. An arrest report indicated his blood-alcohol level was .17, more than twice the legal limit for a drinker of legal age.

When Villegas-Bullock was asked to leave, he became verbally aggressive, the report said. He later told officers that four juvenile males at the festival were picking on him so he pulled down his pants and gave them a hand gesture. The actions weren’t meant to be sexual in any way, he said.

Villegas-Bullock is scheduled to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court at 1 p.m. March 16 for an arraignment on the nine counts of indecent or obscene exposure, which are considered gross misdemeanors.
