JWoww receives Playboy key
JWoww's birthday cake
Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley, better known to fans as JWoww, turned her back on our rival Atlantic City and picked her first-ever visit to Las Vegas to celebrate her birthday. JWoww turned up for a weekend of fun at the Palms and on her first night started out with dinner at Little Buddha. Then JWoww had a VIP stage table at Rain for DJ Z-Trip’s weekly performance, where she and 10 friends danced to the beats and partied hearty.
I can tell you that unlike Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who is single and playing the field, JWoww has a steady boyfriend in her life. His name is Tom Lippolis, and he was right beside her for the 25th birthday dinner at Nove Italiano in the Palms. It was the second visit in the same day for Jenni and Tommy because earlier, they’d attended executive chef Geno Bernardo’s cooking class.
The group took a table right in the center of the main dining room and ordered a family-style menu of pizzas, calamari and panzanella salads for starters and chicken Parmigiano, spaghetti Bolognese and pennette alla vodka for the main course. Then it was time for the first birthday cake of the night that Geno brought out to the table. That prompted everybody in the restaurant to sing “Happy Birthday.”
After dinner, JWoww and her dad hit The Playboy Club and were presented with a Playboy key. After that presentation, JWoww and her friends headed to Moon, where the Playboy Bunnies presented her with another birthday cake.
JWoww wanted the night to never end, so they then went off to Rain and were seen in the pre-dawn hours partying on the main stage and dancing while fist pumping to the beats of Junkie XL. VDLX reader and videographer Richard Corey uploaded his videos to YouTube.
NICK CANNON @VANITY
Actor, rapper and TV personality Nick Cannon hosted the evening at Vanity in the HRH Tower at the Hard Rock Hotel. Nick arrived without wife Mariah Carey, who had host duties at Haze in CityCenter’s Aria after her Caesars Palace show Saturday night. Nick was dressed in a black fedora, undone bowtie and suspenders and was joined on the red carpet by hip-hop group RydazNrtisT, who were the opening act for Mariah’s The Angels Advocate Tour that concluded at The Colosseum.
Although it was 12:30 a.m. yesterday, Nick gave DJ Clinton Sparks a break from the turntables and took over the DJ booth for an hour. They took turns hyping up the crowd. As a RydazNrtisT member pulled out a camera, Nick announced that they were filming a music video and if anyone wanted to be in it, “to get closer and shake their sexy bodies.” The hip-hop group then jumped onstage and, along with Nick, performed two of their hit songs. Nick then settled in to enjoy DJ Sparks’ set before he called it a night to join Mariah, who had partied at Haze with singer Ciara.
