Police say a man is dead after several people chased him from an apartment courtyard and shot him.
The name of the slain man wasn't immediately made public after the fatal shooting a little before 5:30 p.m. Saturday in a neighborhood near The Boulevard mall.
Police found the man mortally wounded in the road near Lisbon Avenue and Rome Street, not far from Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road.
Police Lt. Lewis Roberts says he was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Roberts says investigators identified two two people who may have been involved in the slaying, but the investigation is continuing.
