A 40-year-old woman died in a one-vehicle accident in Mesquite after veering off the road Friday night, the Nevada Highway Patrol said Monday.
Troopers said the woman was driving on the wrong side of Old Mill Road about 11:40 p.m. when she left the road and struck a raised concrete manhole cover and light pole. She was taken to Mesa View Hospital in Mesquite, where she died of her injuries, troopers said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release her name and cause of death.
The woman wasn't wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.
