Gaming supplier Shuffle Master announces promotions

Monday, June 21, 2010 | 4:31 p.m.

Las Vegas-based gaming supplier Shuffle Master announced today it has appointed longtime executive David Lopez as its chief operating officer.

Lopez has been with the company for more than 12 years and most recently served as executive vice president.

Shuffle Master also announced the promotion of Kim Vukanovich to senior vice president of operations and administration. Vukanovich joined Shuffle Master in 2006 as vice president of finance.

“Both individuals have significant experience and well established track records, and we are confident that their leadership will continue to successfully move Shuffle Master forward in the future,” company Chief Executive Phillip Peckman said.

The appointments come about a month and a half after the death of Shuffle Master Chief Executive Tim Parrott. Peckman took over as interim CEO in April, when the company announced Parrott would be taking a medical leave of absence.
