As vice president of Nevada Properties for EJM Development Co., Susan Wincn manages the Las Vegas office for the company, including negotiating all leases and proposals, overseeing the property and facility management departments, developing tenant retention practices, and representing the company in the public sector. EJM is privately owned and headquartered in Los Angeles with a portfolio in excess of 11 million square feet of industrial property located in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. The company is involved in all aspects of real estate, including land acquisition, subdivision, zoning, planning, development, marketing, leasing and management. Currently, EJM is developing the Arroyo, a master-planned mixed use development located off of I-215 between Rainbow and Buffalo, which will accommodate 4.5 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial space. Susan has 30 years of real estate development experience, with over 14 years of experience at EJM. She stands behind such major projects as the Arrowhead Commerce Center, Craig Distribution Center Spencer Helm Business Center, Warm Springs Business Center and Century Park. Prior to joining EJM, Wincn spent many years living in Europe, as well as multiple locations within the United States where she worked in different real estate related disciplines. Once she relocated to Las Vegas, Wincn worked for CB Commercial in its industrial division before opening the Las Vegas office of EJM Development; beginning with a local presence of five buildings that has now expanded to 44. Wincn is a member of NAIOP and BOMA Nevada, has served as a member of the BOMA Nevada Board of Directors for 2006, 2007, 2008, and became president for 2009 through June of 2010. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors for Safe Nest for the past two years.
