Stephen Jones oversees construction and quality control at Blue Heron. Skills he honed throughout his 25 years as a luxury homebuilder and founder of Merlin Contracting, a premier custom home building company. Jones is active in the National Association of Home Builders and a NAHB Certified Green Professional. Blue Heron, known as a leader in green building, was founded by Jones and his partners in 2004. The young company has made a name for itself by winning over 18 prestigious awards for architectural design and green building practices. A Las Vegas native, Jones attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Las Vegas Ballet.
