Pugsley. Simpson. Coulter. Architects principal, Sean L. Coulter, AIA, LEED AP, is an award-winning architect who began his career as an intern with the firm. He was the winning entry in the Las Vegas Pocket Park design competition, he won second place in the 2006 Henderson Housing competition and was named The American Institute of Architects’ Nevada Young Architect in 2003. Coulter has served as lead designer on various significant projects, including the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Lied Library and the Clark County Development Services Building. Aside from his passion for design, Coulter enjoys photography, painting and cycling and regularly participates in fund-raising century bicycle rides throughout the year. He is also involved in the community and often donates his time to speak to students. He has been an Adjunct Professor and Juror for the School of Architecture at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and has served as a Professional Advisor for Clark High School and the Las Vegas Academy. He is actively involved in the local chapter of American Institute of Architects and served as the 2009 President. Currently, Coulter is the President-Elect of the Nevada State Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Coulter earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.
