Rob Helling works with Gatski Commercial clients to analyze and review their property tax position. Helling is able to represent owners in cases where the proposed taxable values of a property exceeds its market value. Under his leadership the Property Tax division has achieved taxable value reductions in excess of $64 million since its 2009 beginnings. Helling spent nearly two decades with the Clark County Assessor’s office primarily as a senior audit appraiser, and also worked in the Clark County Treasurer’s Office as the tax receiver manager. Prior to that he spent 13 years as a private sector real estate appraiser, had his own appraisal firm and worked with many large institutional lenders in Southern California.
