As a principal of Blue Heron, Michael Murphy is responsible for transforming the innovative designs created into the “sticks and bricks” that make up a home, as well as overseeing the design process, quality control and customer service. Murphy earned a Master’s degree in Architecture from Clemson University. He began his nearly thirty year career working for top design firms in Atlanta before founding his own design /build firm in Augusta, Georgia. Murphy and his partners founded Blue Heron, a Las Vegas based custom home building company in 2004. A gifted architect and exceptional builder, Murphy and the team at Blue Heron built the “New American Home” at Marquis Las Vegas in 2009. Murphy is a member of the National Association of Home Builders.
