For more than 20 years, Michael Mixer has been one of Southern Nevada’s most trusted commercial brokers. An expert in the hotel, resort and land market, Mixer’s extensive market reports, demographic studies, and land value analyses have been used by many of the world’s top development and investment firms. Mixer has consistently ranked as one of the top three brokers at Colliers International, with billions of dollars in transactions. Mixer co-founded Colliers’ Las Vegas office in 1993 and serves as the firm’s managing partner. He also leads the firm’s Resort & Gaming Group, which focuses primarily on urban high-rise projects, gaming properties, mixed-use and redevelopment sites in and around the Las Vegas resort corridors and University District. He has represented notable clients including MGM MIRAGE, The Related Companies, American Nevada Corporation, and Morgans Hotel Group. Mixer is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, has served on the board of directors for NAIOP Southern Nevada and as past chairperson of the organization’s political action committee. Mixer currently serves on the Board of Directors for Colliers Parrish, a collection of 9 Colliers offices in the Western U.S., as well as Chairman for the Colliers USA Board. Mixer also co-founded Colliers’ Links for Life Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to disadvantaged children in Southern Nevada.
