As director of marketing for Pardee Homes of Nevada, Kathy Hilty’s responsibilities include oversight for regional marketing, public relations, advertising and market research for Pardee, one of the largest and longest-established home builders in Southern Nevada. In addition to coordinating local and national marketing efforts for Pardee’s high-profile Zero Energy/Ultimate Family Home and 50-hour House projects, Hilty has introduced more than 60 new neighborhoods and sales centers in the Las Vegas Valley. The Pardee marketing team helped coordinate the $1 million renovation project – Building Hope at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children – with HomeAid Southern Nevada and more than 100 volunteer Pardee subcontractors. The company received the 2008 Governor’s Points of Light Award for corporate community service as a result of the St. Jude’s project. During Hilty’s tenure, Pardee has received numerous Homer Awards for merchandising, as well as for design; the Hearthstone Award for community service; America’s Best Builder Award for overall excellence; and several environmental awards. Before joining Pardee, Hilty served as marketing director for Sunrise Colony, where she established successful marketing strategies for the 2,000-unit age-restricted community of Siena. She was also marketing manager for Jackson Properties in Arizona and was senior market analyst for Pulte, where she honed her skills in market research in both the Las Vegas and Arizona divisions. Since 1952, Pardee has built homes for nearly 40,000 Southern Nevada families and developed several master-planned communities. Today, Pardee covers the Las Vegas Valley with eight active single-family new home neighborhoods.
