Katherine Matheson is a Las Vegas native and co-founder of Terra West. A pioneer in local homeowner association management, Katherine developed many of the contracts, policies, and procedures that govern or influence association management today. As CEO of Terra West, she oversees the company’s long-range planning. She works closely with the executive directors of Terra West to ensure that clients are provided with the highest quality service possible. Matheson began her real estate career in 1977, became a Nevada real estate broker in 1978, earned her property management permit from the State of Nevada Real Estate Division in 1999, and obtained her State of Utah real estate broker’s license in 2009. She is a graduate of Valley High School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She belongs to the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, where she chaired the Property Management Committee. She is a founding member of both the Community Association Management Executive Officers and the Community Associations Institute, Southern Nevada Chapter, and served on its Executive Board of Directors.
