Jon Legarza is senior vice president of ANC Construction, a division of American Nevada Co. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction activities of American Nevada Co. A 19-year veteran of the general construction industry, Legarza joined American Nevada Co. in 1997 as a construction manager for the company’s commercial division and was elevated to the position of senior project manager in 2003. He was instrumental in the development of the first phase of The District at Green Valley Ranch and currently oversees construction of the second phase. Legarza holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. American Nevada Co. has a 3-million-square-foot commercial portfolio, which includes the 90-acre master-planned Green Valley Corporate Center Office Park and The District at Green Valley Ranch – the first mixed-used metropolitan lifestyle center in the Las Vegas Valley. ANC also has been the lead development partner in the master-planned communities of Green Valley, Green Valley Ranch, Seven Hills and Aliante. In recent years, ANC has expanded into markets outside of Nevada, including development partnerships on a 4,000-acre project outside of Tucson, a 3,000-acre development near Houston, Texas, and a proposed 14,000-acre community in Pueblo County, Colo.
