John Tippins is the broker of Northcap Commercial and owner of Tippins Holdings, LLC. At Northcap Commercial, he oversees the commercial real estate brokerage and acquisitions departments. Tippins’ market concentrations are South Las Vegas Boulevard, Downtown Las Vegas and multifamily investments. As a broker, he has closed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions throughout his career and his sales were accredited for helping to revitalize Downtown Las Vegas. As a principal, Tippins has been involved in the acquisitions of more than $400 million since 2005, including assembling nearly 60 acres in Downtown Las Vegas, 700 acres in Steamboat, Colorado, 2,500 apartment units, bar/taverns, casinos, nightclubs, and retail properties. John is also a partner in the Metro Police Department Headquarters development that broke ground in late 2009. Additionally, in 2009 John formed Valley Residential Services, a sister company to Northcap to assist condominium project owners and lenders in redirecting their sales/marketing and leasing programs. VRS has been responsible for over 60 condo sales, and over 100 tbhird-party leasing agreements in its first year as well as recreating a new sales program at Allure Condos which he is the broker of. Tippins also formed a west coast alliance with the Ackman Ziff companies to help provide debt and equity opportunities for owners and buyers of real estate. Tippins is a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Las Vegas program through the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Marketing. Most recently, Tippins was awarded Top 40 Under 40 by In Business Las Vegas and was a speaker at the 2009 Nevada Multi Housing conference in Las Vegas.
