Irene Vogel runs Southern Nevada’s largest trade association, representing nearly 12,500 Realtors and overseeing 40 employees. It’s her second tenure running GLVAR, having previously done so from 1972 to 1990. She’s a longtime community leader. For more than 10 years, she has served on the board of directors for the Friends of Channel 10. She is involved with the College of Southern Nevada Foundation, has chaired the selection committee for the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Las Vegas program, and served on the board of the Frontier Girl Scouts. In 1990, she earned the Community Achievement Award in real estate from the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, Vogel was selected as one of In Business Las Vegas’ 50 Most Influential People in Las Vegas.
