Dean E. Alford, PG, CEM, is director of environmental services for The Westmark Group in Las Vegas and Phoenix. He is responsible for managing and developing Westmark’s team of technicians and environmental engineers, as well as a host of projects spanning environmental site assessments and corrective actions to groundwater and soil investigation and cleanup. Alford’s 23 years of experience in the environmental and groundwater resources field further compliments the Westmark Group’s proven practices and values including unmatched attention to detail. His expertise includes hydrologic basin analysis, water well design and water resource management, environmental site assessments, mold, lead and asbestos assessments, groundwater and soil investigation and clean up, and has managed projects and evaluated impacts from fuels, solvents, metals and other contaminants throughout Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California. Alford earned his M.S. in Geology and Geochemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He holds numerous professional credentials, including certification as an environmental manager and asbestos inspector in Nevada.
