David Johnson has been involved in the real estate industry since 1978. As the needs of his clients changed and in order to focus his efforts, Johnson formed Commercial West Realty Advisors in 1994. After more than seven years as principle of

Commercial West Realty Advisors, he merged his talents with NAI Las Vegas in 2001 to become senior vice president of retail. Johnson has been actively involved in the development and ownership of over one million square feet of retail shopping centers in the Las Vegas area for more than 20 years, such as Rodeo Paradise, Placid Corners, Flamingo Swenson, Buffalo & Washington, Lowes Center, Alamosa, and Trop Topaz. Some of the more notable properties Johnson has had ownership and sold are Rodeo Paradise, Warm Springs and Placid, and Flamingo Swenson. Since 2001, he has been the preferred broker for CVS pharmacies in Nevada and has been responsible for 55 new stores in the Las Vegas valley. Johnson has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 1981, and has served as a Committee Chairman for several ICSC functions. He was State Operations Co-Chairman for the ICSC from 1992 to 1994, and ICSC Nevada State Director from1994 to 1996. He is active in several local professional organizations including the local ICSC, CCIM, IREM and NAIOP chapters.
