Metro Police released surveillance video images today of a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery last week in the Summerlin area.
Authorities said the man entered a bank in the area of Hualapai Way and Charleston Boulevard about 4:15 p.m. June 9. The man approached a teller and displayed a note demanding money, then left when the teller complied, police said.
The man is believed to have robbed another bank June 1 in the area of Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive, investigators said. In each case, the robber mentioned having a gun. Police weren't identifying the banks that were robbed.
The robber is described as black, 25-35 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9 and 150 to 170 pounds wearing a ball cap, large dark sunglasses and blue jeans.
