Approximate crash location
The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified a man who died at University Medical Center this morning after suffering injuries in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 as 38-year-old Philip Napolitano of North Las Vegas.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Fackrell said Napolitano left the roadway at 5:46 a.m. about four miles south of the U.S. 93 interchange in his Pontiac minivan, which overturned. The crash location is about eight miles northeast of the Las Vegas Beltway interchange in North Las Vegas.
Troopers said Napolitano suffered critical injuries as a result of the crash and was airlifted to UMC, where he died at about 7 a.m.
