A fire in the wall of a Henderson home did $15,000 damage before firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, officials said.

Nobody was injured, the Henderson Fire Department reported.

The fire was reported at 5:18 p.m. Tuesday at a single-story house in the 700 block of Breezy Ridge Drive, near the intersection of East Horizon Drive and Arrowhead Trail, fire officials said. The homeowner noticed smoke coming from the attic vents and called 911, officials said.

The fire, which was in an exterior wall and void space that extended to the attic, was put out in about 10 minutes, officials said.
