Pedestrian struck
A 54-year-old Las Vegas man suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday night when he was struck by a car while crossing West Flamingo Road, Metro Police said.
The pedestrian, Christopher Condon, was crossing the street about 8 p.m. just west of South Wynn Road, near the Palms, when he was hit by a 2007 Honda Civic, police said. Condon was not in a marked crosswalk, police said.
He was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the car was identified as Justin Flowers, 29, of Las Vegas.
The incident is under investigation by Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.
