I have to laugh every time I read an article promoting electric cars. The people have a nice dream, but the reality is, where will all the electricity come from?
My sister-in-law lives in Southern California where rolling blackouts are quite frequent in the summer. I can just imagine 5 million or 10 million electric car drivers coming home from work at 5 or 6 in the evening and plugging in their electric cars.
Are you kidding me?
Maybe if they built 10 or 20 nuclear power plants it might work. Yeah, I can see that happening.
