The parking garage at the Luxor was shut down temporarily Saturday night while Metro Police investigated what officials described as a “suspicious vehicle” on the top floor of the structure. Police said shortly before 11 p.m. that the report "turned out to be nothing."
The entire structure was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic at about 9:30 p.m. and was reopened by 10:50 p.m. Paramedic and fire units were ringing the structure.
A Metro armored team responded to the call from hotel security about 9:20 p.m., officials said.
Police initially said the report could have resulted from someone spotting a “performance accessory” attached to a vehicle. They did not say what, if anything, it turned out to be.
There were “no associated threats” with the discovery, police said.
Dozens of hotel guests had been attempting to leave the hotel from the exits leading to the walkway connecting the hotel to the garage and were turned away. Each request for information was met with the explanation, “The garage is closed.”

isnt that where they had that explosion murder a few yrs ago, sympathies to the victims
I bet the vehicle tried to take a picture of something, sending Luxor Security into a panic. Because everybody knows how dangerous photos are.
By the way, way to go Luxor on keeping your guests informed as to what was going on. "The garage is closed." Yeah, no kidding, bet nobody could figure that out when you physically barred them from retrieving their property and leaving.
On the positive side, this probably allowed your guests more time to interact with the hucksters in the hallway connecting you to the Excal. Everybody knows and appreciates what a valuable and relaxing experience that can be.
it was probably just spinners, and they cleared it when they realized the plates are from california.
Why did it take an hour and 20 minutes?
Some casinos will do anything to keep people from leaving.........lol
