LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Take it from a business owner, Angle is right
Friday, July 30, 2010 | 2:03 a.m.
In response to a Tuesday letter to the editor from Matt Hafenbreadl, in which he castigates Republican Senate nominee Sharron Angle for her statement that, as a senator, it would not be her job to create jobs:
As a sole proprietor/small-business owner, I will tell you that a senator cannot create a job for me. A senator cannot make me create a job for someone else. But a senator can help to create an environment for me as a small-business operator whereas I can grow and flourish, thereby allowing me to create a job or jobs.
That environment would be free of uncertainty on future tax increases, escalating energy costs and health care costs, among other things.
Unfortunately, President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are not doing that. In fact, they have me scared to death about my small-business prospects.
What will I do? I’ll wait. Like every other small-business operator I know.
So, from a small-business owner point of view, what Sharron Angle says is correct.

Senator Robert Byrd porked West Virginia into history. He got his state so much guvmint money that he was deified in that state. What has Harry done for us? City Center? Not enough. Those construction jobs were not permanent. Those 278 "green" solar panel jobs will be filled mostly by out of state workers.
Listen to Bill Clinton "It the economy stupid."
Listen to Obama's Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke who said we have "Unusual Uncertainty"
"Unusual Uncertainty" is higher taxes, higher energy cost, higher health insurance cost, higher cost for capital formation, and more regulations.
we need to shift the negative job hire environment to a positive trajectory of hiring. We are talking about getting the GDP growth from a 2% track to a greater than 3.5% rate. Federal largess has done nothing to date. Thanks to TARP we have been in the 2-2.5 range since May of 2009 -- BEFORE the $856 billion started to pay out. So the Stimulus has not moved the GDP growth.
When businesses are uncertain about the future and see higher taxes, higher energy cost, higher health insurance cost, higher capital formation cost, and higher regulatory cost they are not going to expand and hire.
Now that they have squandered our Stimulus money they want MORE to spend guess what on so called small business stuff that will not work.
Why did Obama, Reid and Pelosi not produce at Jobs Stimulus bill back when they had that money to spend.
They wasted $856 billion on stuff that did not produce a jobs environment for private sector jobs or help small business.

Good letter--thanks for the dose of reality therapy from the real world. Angle in best choice for Nevada and America.
wow...
this guy actually owns a business...
he must be very very important...
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Hey Mark
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Vote for Angle ... nobody cares. She will lose
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
You are a man blind to facts and issues and the reality of the situation
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Have a good one
Mark D is a: "sole proprietor/small-business owner" who thinks that: "what Sharron Angle says is correct."
Golly..
Hope Angle invites you to her next "press conference" so you can say that for the cameras D..
Dear Mark Teabagger,
Sen. Reid and his supporters thank you for bringing up the subject of Harry's efforts to keep City Center afloat, thus avoiding a possible bankruptcy of MGM and the resulting massive layoffs, adding yet another punch to the gut of Nevada's struggling economy.
We hope you continue to write to all the state's newspapers blasting Sen. Reid for picking up the telephone and talking to bankers on behalf of a major Nevada employer and its thousands of workers.
But in future letters please mention Sharron Angle's statements that she would not have lifted a finger to help save that critical project and its many thousands of jobs. It's important that voters are made aware of Angle's extreme right-wing ideology and what it could mean to their own livelihoods should she join (disgraced republican and soon-to-be-indicted) John Ensign and become a US Senator representing Nevada.
Sincerely,
A Reid Supporter
Last Throes, should we thank Mr. Reid for not protecting those city center jobs from illegals and making sure they went to citizens. Oh that's right, Harry says we don't have illegal aliens working in our State.
Someone as disconnected as Harry is, should not even be the senate majority leader as his actions are proving that he lies.
It's not a lie, even if you can proove it is. Just keep smiling Harry, let a smile be your umbrella, just remember there's lightening out there, be careful.
Small businesses are the engine that drives our economy. Yeah OK, but without the City Center jobs there will be a multitude of hair salons and dry cleaners that will go out of business. City Center is big business. Pet Groomers are small business. If a person owns a pet but doesn't have a job,he/she will not take the pet(s) to the pet groomer. Big business drives small business.
Wake Up and realize we have Big problems and we need Big Solutions. So, we need A big well funded Federal Government to handle these solutions.
We need to end the Bush Tax Cuts next year. We need to end Marijuana prohibition, we need to have comprehensive prison reform. These are a few of the things that breaking our state budgets.
I am so tired of you low tax, no solution Right Wingers talking non-sense. Start coming up with viable ideas that will help all Americans. Stop putting down the Federal Government and her workers. Get Patriotic and start solving problems.
Diamonddog keep smoking that marijuana you mentioned, it might do you some good to 7-11 and buy a big gulp and hot dog.
At best, all a politician can do is pick well-connected companies to be winners who in turn, create the jobs. This doesn't even mean the politicians create jobs on net... in some cases, the politician's jobs program may kill more jobs than it creates.
It depends on if the politician is working with said business how well it will survive.
I own a small business and Angle is correct.
If Angle is elected, then I will stay in business.
If Reid is elected, I plan to change my status to minority, apply for free guv'mint handouts and become a community organizer..march around defending my right to freebies and demanding guv'mint solutions..
The problem with the "big guv'mint" solution is no one can eat or sleep under a dollar bill.
The author wrote - "Unfortunately, President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are not doing that. In fact, they have me scared to death about my small-business prospects."
Is that really the case? It's the Republicans who are holding up the bill that will fund small business, not the Dems.
I suggest the author take a peek at the votes and cloutures by the Republicans. As a matter of fact, if more people did they would realize which party is truly hurting our nation. The "Party of NO" is more focused on having Obama fail than to aid the country.
Diamonddogg - "I am so tired of you low tax, no solution Right Wingers talking non-sense. Start coming up with viable ideas that will help all Americans. Stop putting down the Federal Government and her workers. Get Patriotic and start solving problems."
I couldn't have said it any better, thanks Diamond.
VernosB the republicans want to pay the bill with the Stimulus money. The democrats want to put it on our debt and our childrens debt. The Democrats are not being fiscally responsible.

I have a successful small business. I bought thousands of dollars worth of equipment yesterday.
Are you calling me a "no solution right winger?"
I stay in business because I understand the economy.
You can eat that government check. Do you know why? Because this machinery was readily available 10 years ago but now this machinery is special order. Do you understand the implications of that?
hey xtra...
wow...
you own a business...
you must be very very important too...
just wondering...
will you get a tax write off for that piece of machinery???
do you write off your car???
what was your effective tax rate over the past decade???
hmmm???
stop patting yourself on the back man...
don't make it sound like there are not already ample incentives for you to buy some equipment...
it's a damn joke...
this just in...
cutting taxes...
especially for the rich...
ends obesity!!!
Uddeboda
You don't get it..I don't need the government. The credit became tight..I pay cash..and I save the interest.
The government sees that slight increase in my income..12% on those thousands..and the government will raise my taxes that amount.
Why..if I can succeed in any endevour..Why should I stay in business?
Now do you see why the government has to round people up and make them work in socialists countries..
That will be next..If you are government-selected as "the masses" (not specially protected minority) and not a caretaker of children enrolled in paternalistic government programs ..you will be forced to work. Everybody else gets it for free.
Or do we already have that?
Republicans block bill to aid small businesses.

These maggots (birdie's right, they are maggots) would rather play politics than help your business, Mark. They want Americans to fail so they can blame Democrats come November and beyond.
hey extra...
answer the question...
what was your effective tax rate for the past decade???
hmmm???
the reason i ask is...
one of the richest men in the world...
warren buffett...
his effective tax rate was something like 16%...
got that pal...
16%...
less than his secretary's...
got that partner...
so...
seems to me...
most blowhards who cry about cutting taxes all day long...
probably are already gaming the system...
and i am just wondering if you are one of those blowhards???
so...
what was your effective tax rate over the past decade???
this just in...
cutting taxes...
especially on the rich...
ends global warming!!!
Birdie,
Yes, that makes these business owners MORE important than a hanger-on like you. They provide employment and an opportunity to make a wage and support a family. They are the people who will get this economy started and humming - and they don't take government checks.
THEY ARE IMPORTANT. MORESO THAN YOU!
And until we stop listening to the rabble of society like you and start listening to the people who produce in this society like them, we will continue to see this country slide into mediocrity.
Good job, guys. Keep pumping out those PAYCHECKS!
You run a sole proprietorship? I would hire any employees either. Why would I risk the liability of my employee's actions when my personal assets are on the line...
I also don't follow the logic about uncontrolled healthcare and energy costs... Not sure which republicans have made any kind of effort to control those costs...
This guy's whole argument reminds me of Joe the unlicensed plummer...
birdie
I pay taxes in many ways. I pay fees and licenses. I pay federal excise taxes. I pay taxes on and through the business then I pay income taxes which you are familiar with. I also figure in the time spent filling out the paperwork and complying with government regulations as taxes.
On the entire business, gross and personal net, I pay well over 50% of gross and the net is very small. I don't make enough to get above poverty line and I live that way.
I don't qualify for any government help. Most of those "small business" programs set up by the government are for "specially selected minorities." Lately most of my competition are legal immigrants who qualify for the government low interest loans. The turnover of those new business owners is very high.
birdie it's not a joke its a reality. You buy toilet paper it's a deduction. Every thing you touch in business is a deduction. That's a reality.Birdie you just got to learn how to believe.
Start with this, do you believe in old yeller? Start here and slowly progress, you don't want to fall down, I know it's hard getting up off the ground at your age.
Here's another "Think lovely thoughts", get the possitive going.
There's hope where there's help, and you'll always find help here.
Bon jour mein fuhrer
Another question for the liberal loons. You guys all cheer when Harry Reid steps in and helps a huge multi-national corporation secure financing for a projet and say "What a Great Guy!". That project employs 8,000 people full-time.
Yet, you also say to our Government "Kick those rich, huge multi-national companies in the A*** and make them pay MORE and MORE taxes!". Then those companies respond by moving jobs overseas. Why wouldn't you implore the Administration to "Help" these big, huge companies to pay less taxes and be able to hire more people like the MGM boys?
Why the hypocrisy, liberals?
hey gogo...
i find it fascinating how you republican maggots always reflexively reach for arrogance when somebody destroys your argument...
most telling...
just like psycho sharron...
calling the unfortunate unemployed "spoiled"...
wow wee...
what a nest of maggots...
this just in...
cutting taxes...
especially on the rich...
will fill lake mead to the brim!!!
gogo... please google straw man argument
Republicans blocked the small business bull?
Yes, those are specifically targetted to people who are..specially selected minorities..
Those programs are not for people who are qualified by talent or experience in business. It is a wealth redistribution program.
You can pay taxes to give legal immigrants from around the world low interest loans to buy small businesses, like that "german engineer" who qualified for government loans to buy crop dusters just before 9/11. Oh..He died when he flew that other plane into the world trade center.. but why don't all of you go and apply for those same loans. I bet you don't qualify..
I don't appreciate those programs at all and I resent paying taxes to host that kind of competition.
hey extra...
thanks for the answer...
i wish you well...
but you really must consider if you are actually voting against your own best interests...
make no mistake my friend...
the maggot republicans only care about the top 2%...
they don't care about you...
we proud liberal democrats care far more about you...
period...
end of story...
don't listen to the nonsense the republican maggots spew on a daily basis...
bottom line...
like i always say...
there is only one statistic you need to know...
the top 1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90%...
and if you are in the bottom 90% you are an absolute fool to vote for the maggot republicans...
an absolute fool...
best of luck to you...
birdiedreamin
Your effective tax rate is much higher than the rate you pay to the IRS.
You pay a VAT tax if you rent because all property is taxed
You pay drivers license and plates.
You pay sales tax, gasoline tax.
You pay over 50% of you income and I pay more..because I pay income and business taxes.
We are all paying over 50% and the national debt requires 90%.
Do the math
If you want an unemployment check instead of a job - vote for the liberal left.
If you want to receive your health care like you renew your driver's license - vote for the liberal left.
If you believe Obama, Reid and Pelosi are better at making decisions for you and your family - vote for the liberal left.
If you believe that the Government can spend money more wisely than you or I - vote for the liberal left.
IF YOU WANT A GOOD PAYING JOB WITH A FUTURE...
OR THE ABILITY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY....
OR KEEP MORE OF THE MONEY YOU EARN....
OR MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION ON WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE YOU PURCHASE.....
VOTE FOR CONSERVATIVES!
And here's the kicker.....
If you want those Government decisions to be made by people who are elected by crazy, left wing nuts like Birdie, Okra, VegasEngineer, Vidi, Vernos, etc. THEN you should vote liberal.
THAT may be the scariest reason of all to NOT vote for the liberal left - bacause these nuts ARE voting for them!
Gogo - taxing the Mega corporations is bad -- it makes them send their work overseas? No, not quite right. BECAUSE of favorable REPUBLICAN tax loopholes, multinational corporations were able to globally expand and send MILLIONS of jobs in processing centers all over the world, anywhere except the United States. Thank Best Buy next time you buy something from them. If you have trouble with your computer or anything else you buy from them, you are stuck with dealing with India for your repair or assistance calls (Geek Squad). Thank your VISA or MasterCard holder when you send in your payment. THEY have sent their processing centers overseas because THEY did not want to pay a decent wage to American workers. Don't try to tell me the story that these big businesses are the ones that create jobs! They only create jobs for Hindi, Pakistani, or Bangladeshian workers who can get by on $5 an hour.
just sayin' ...
Unemployment levels under George Bush:
2001- 4.7%
2002- 5.8%
2003- 6.0%
2004- 5.5%
2005- 5.1%
2006- 4.6%
2007- 4.6%
2008- 5.8%
Except for the housing bubble which caused the entire financial system to become strained - to which BOTH the Democrats and Republicans contributed - I believe the above figures would be very welcome today.....
I wonder if the current President will ever see unemployment numbers that low....maybe if he spent another $3 Trillion dollars on his "Mad Scheme" and everyone worked for the Government!
Nov. 2 - Capitalists and Parents back in charge!
gogo... also google Freudian Projection...
here are the cliff notes though so you can save some time..
In classical psychology, projection is always seen as a defense mechanism that occurs when a person's own unacceptable or threatening feelings are repressed and then attributed to someone else.
here are some examples....
It is the democrat's fault that I can't find a job!
I can't make it in business because of all these oppressive taxes in Nevada!
I'm not crazy, everybody else is crazy!
Purple Power, if these call centers could be set up in the U.S. and pay these people $15 an hour they would be here. Why aren't they?
Because the government adds all kinds of goodies onto the cost of employment - with the big kahuna being the health care mandates coming up. Add in massive amounts of regulations and you get a ponderous cost structure.
These jobs are also subject to where the revenue from transactions are being realized. If the credit card is run in India the multi-national corporation pays taxes in India - not the U.S. Why does that matter? The U.S. has the SECOND highest corporate tax rate in the world. Just another reason to move a processing center to India, Ireland, China, etc.
What is really interesting would be the fact that people like you, Birdie and the rest of the lunatic liberals dump on these companies from a "Moral" standpoint and you also have the hunger to regulate and tax the crap out of them and then call them "Unpatriotic" when they move!
Unbelievable!
Hey Birdie, who was on "the View" today?
Hang in there, first of the month almost here.
this just in...

listen up my little childish republican friends...
if you don't think big business doesn't already own washington...
you are an idiot...
period...
end of story...
and here is the deal...
listen closely...
put your ear next to the screen...
big business has the maggot republican party completely buffaloed...
it throws the minions pennies...
and it walks away with billions...
and fools like gogo get on these boards and do their dirty work...
and they laugh themselves to sleep every single night...
wake up...
you are getting played...
and those pennies they toss your way...
they don't even offset your share in the ever growing national debt...
put your ego's down...
stop pretending you are rich and powerful on these boards...
get your heads out of your butts...
and start voting for your own best interest...
you silly childish republican maggots...
hey xtra...
i know what an effective tax rate is...
bottom line...
the top 2% owns america...
and they pretend that tax cuts will trickle down...
they don't...
greed is an all too common human trait...
nothing trickles down...
the rich just get richer...
and the middle class get's crushed once again...
my pet peeve is...
too many republican maggots are in the middle class...
and they like to pretend that they are not...
and the top 2% laugh their tails off every single day at them...
it's a damn joke...

gogo is right; it's not his world.
THe GDP number is not a "snapshot". It is the reporting of the ENTIRE output of the U.S. Economy for an entire three months. 2.4% growth doesn't cut it.
This economy is slowing and the "Stimulus" funds that were pumped into worthless projects and used as fodder for public sector union employees has gone to waste. PERIOD. If there aren't any tax breaks for business or small business owners this economy is going right in the toilet. Projections for the balance of the year are extremely bearish and nobody wants to invest when you are about to get your head handed to you with new taxes.
And like a heroin addict looking for his next fix, the Democrats want to convince you to authorize ANOTHER round of worthless spending.

Hmmm. As a small business owner, how did you like the economic implosion that occurred during the last administration--the biggest one since the Great Depression? Did that increase or decrease your economic security?
You mention health care costs. Did you miss the fact that health insurance has gone up every year for about the last 30 years? Making it the #1 reason for personal bankruptcies in America? I guess you were against health care reform then, like the rest of the Republicans.
As a small business owner, are you happy that the Republicans blocked loans to small businesses yesterday?
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/30/us/pol...
You mention "escalating energy costs." Are you aware that the world is running out of oil? And that is why we are drilling a mile beneath the ocean now? Are you aware that Sharron Angle does not have the support of any alternative energy company operating in Nevada?
http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jul...
And finally, are you aware that the last three Republican administrations, while cutting taxes for the wealthy and increasing govt spending, either tripled or doubled the national debt during each one? Converting America from a lending nation into a debtor nation?
And that the only president since 1980 to balance the budget and begin paying down the national debt was Clinton?
http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/fede...
I guess not.

Many of you paupers may noy have a clue, so being the magnanimous sort of element as I happen to have become due to hanging around the planet so damn long, I am herewith going to clue you in.
Rich folks are living up off the surface of the planet in their (our) own little universes with goolobs of special privileges that most ordinary people seldom dream.
Their wealth isolates them in a way. Their connections to the rest of the beings are usury and function related. Other beings provide services. See?

Actually, the correct phrase is:
"All the right can do is cut taxes for the wealthy, increase government spending, and increase the national debt until the economy implodes and they are kicked out of office."
Which is why the president is a Democrat and why the Congress has a Democratic majority--and why the Republicans got the boot two years ago.

Alternative Energy is just that, an alternative to energy.
Alternative energy companies support harry greed because they have their hands out.
gogo is right... 2.4% doesn't cut it... he prefers the -6.8% GDP growth of Bush's final quarter...
They revise GDP figures every quarter as more data becomes available. Today's revision of Q1 2010 from 2.7 to 3.7 is an election year liberal smokescreen!!!
This is a true story. I built a house (2,200 sqft). Land included, It cost $173,592.00. Across the street the Feds, State built a low income (1625 sqft house). After talking to the general contractor and researcing gov doc's, I was surpised to find out that the much smaller and modestly built house cost us the US tax payers $265,000.00. Do the math. Any Questions?
Deloise McGruder has developed the factors and formula that clearly, repeatedly and accurately trace the TIME LAG between lousy leadership at the helm and the consequential disasters that follow over time, echoing the mismanagement by the crashing economic response.
During the helmsman ship of Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 years, the mistakes they made created ripple effects that took time to demolish our economy.
What we are seeing on our streets pushing shopping carts and smelling bad were employees with homes and PTA meetings to attend - model citizens - little chunks of those great numbers attributed by synchronosity to Bush but actually empowered by policies of Clinton to succeed until the ripples of 'bring It On' and Mission Accomplished, My Pet Goat and lax W street regs grabbed our once thriving economy and turned her upside down and threw the baby out with the blackwater
Fossil fuel merchants are different, Rusty?

I'd make more fun of the crazed wingnut, gogo-googlemeister, but I'm feeling a movement coming on due to my "coffee position" earlier in the morning. This Wall Street wizardry stuff is no piece of cake, lemme tell ya. I did tell y'all (on the internets) about how I'm a Wall Street wiz, master of the universe, international man of mystery, didn't I?

Rusty57, who like Sharron Angle believes there is no global warming and that 50% of the coral around the world is dying because they just got tired of living, writes:
"Yes, airweare, but unlike alternative energy companies, they actually PRODUCE energy."
First, the global warming:

http://www.well.com/~davidu/extinction.h...
Just a few factoids on alternative energy around the world and why Harry Reid is interested in it, as opposed to Sharron Angle's total lack of interest:
1) Wind-generated electricity (which creates no greenhouse gases, as opposed to coal-fueled electricity-generating plants) is growing rapidly and has doubled in the last three years. Denmark currently receives 20 percent of its electricity from wind power, Spain and Portugal receive14%, the Republic of Ireland 11% and Germany 8%.
2) U.S. Department of Energy studies have concluded that wind from the Great Plains states of Texas, Kansas, and North Dakota could provide enough electricity to power the entire nation, and that offshore wind farms could do the same job. If Texas were a separate nation, then by current wind-generation standards it would be ranked sixth in the world. The state of Iowa currently produces 14% of its electricity consumption through wind power.
3) Solar power is currently the fastest growing energy technology industry in the world, doubling every two or three years The 89 petawatts of sunlight reaching the Earth's surface is plentiful--almost 6,000 times more than the 15 terawatts of average electrical power consumed by humans. Solar power is pollution-free and creates no greenhouse gases. If it continues to double in use every two to three years, or less, it will become the dominant energy source within a few decades. Germany is the world' leader and installed a record 3,800 Megawatts of solar power in 2009, Spain 2,600 Megawatts. The U.S., by contrast, installed only 500 MW. Solar power in the United States accounted for less than 0.1% of the county's electricity generation in 2006. The U.S. Department of Energy, however, has recently established the goal of generating 10-15% of the nation's energy from solar sources by 2030.
So I guess we should just pretend that our only option is to guzzle oil and that no other options exist?

"Most recently, a Heritage Foundation paper downplayed the role of Bush-era policies. Nevertheless, the fact remains: Together with the economic downturn, the Bush tax cuts and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq explain virtually the entire deficit over the next ten years."
"Just two policies dating from the Bush Administration -- tax cuts and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan -- accounted for over $500 billion of the deficit in 2009 and will account for almost $7 trillion in deficits in 2009 through 2019, including the associated debt-service costs. The prescription drug benefit enacted in 2003 accounts for further substantial increases in deficits and debt, which we are unable to quantify due to data limitations. These impacts easily dwarf the stimulus and financial rescues. Furthermore, unlike those temporary costs, these inherited policies (especially the tax cuts and the drug benefit) do not fade away as the economy recovers.

@nitro: I'm a small business owner (been off the posts a few hours tending to business and paying the bills) with many contacts in other states. The complaints I hear from them on a weekly, if not daily, basis about the tremendous burdens put on them by their own home state's taxes. When I tell them what our business tax situation is like they almost hang up on me. They pay SO MANY other fees, excises, taxes on SO MANY other levels, state income tax, business tax, payroll tax, tax-a-tax-a-tax! Nevada's business climate could easily survive an overhaul of broad-based tax restructuring and small, medium and even large businesses would be relatively unscathed. I do quite well, don't pay anywhere near the 90% you seem to want us to think you pay, write off an appropriate amount in depreciation and expenses, and have a tidy profit line. I believe I could tolerate a corporate income tax and still survive, still support myself and my employees and live a life I have always found to be happy and rewarding. I have been a Democrat all my life and never been prouder than to be one now. But thanx for the input, nevertheless. It's still interesting reading.

Washington July 30, 2010: Republicans Say Tax Cuts Can Minimize E.D.
Mitch McConnell today stated that since stress is a major cause of erectile dysfunction, tax cuts for people making over $250,000.00 would reduce stress in this group of taxpayers that suffer most from E.D., thereby lowering their dependency on Viagra and in turn reduce health care costs dramatically.
This is the cornerstone of the Republican plan to overturn that ridiculous idea that the poor and sick in America deserve access to health care.
@gogo: So here's the deal: I'm a Parent AND a Capitalist, and I'm happy to know I'll be back in charge in November! Wow. You had me worried there for a while.
@nitro: I suffered through the inflation brought on by the ripple effect of Regeanomics and even earlier, by Gerald Ford and Nixon ramming their escalated and unnecessary defense spending down our throats for so many years. This Democratic majority is seeking to hold down inflation while the economy slowly recovers. We could recover a lot quicker if they were to raise the prime rate of interest, and banks and other businesses started getting more bang for their buck on investments. But that's not going to happen for a while. The economy is too fragile. America needs to invest in itself, for once, without greed as a prime directive, and put the best minds of our generation to work on coming up with something we can produce and export besides embarassment. Alternative energy is a perfect example of what we COULD do, if properly motivated. The fact that the world is quickly spiraling toward a carbon-based demise has me motivated.

Mr. Traeger, you are absolutely correct. The only thing I would add is; not all small businesses want loans. Part of the Congress wants to hand out loans to small businesses. In order to expand your business you need consumers first. The answer is to get people (consumers) working. Since small business is the major job creator, government needs to quit scaring the crap out of small business.
Tax cuts dont create jobs

How do buisnesses get busy? When people have money to spend.

I would not be surprised if some of the items you sell are imported. What about the government effort to facilitate world trade?

Comrade gbigs,
Thanks for your Yucca Mtn. comments. In other words;
1. FEDERAL subsidy of nuclear power is GOOD.
2. FEDERAL subsidy of solar power is BAD.
3. FEDERAL bailout of BP is GOOD.
4. FEDERAL bailout of GM is BAD.
How do we reconcile this into a consistent right-wing fascist business policy? Also, how do we reconcile this with the FEDERAL bailout of military contractors, Lockheed in 1970 and Chrysler in 1981?
Comrade gbigs,
You say "Nukes are not subsidized." That is a bold assertion. Have you researched the Federal Tax Code before making that statement? Have you researched how the Yucca Mtn. FEDERAL nuclear waste dump is financed?
You say "Solar power is subsidized its also a dead end." Why, is the sun a fossil fuel that will run out some day?
Where is your data and research to make these assertions?
How does the bailout of GM differ from the bailout of Lockheed and Chrysler?
How about the Bush-Cheney bailout of the oil industry via our military occupation of mid-east oil fields? How much does that cost and how do we pay for it?
Well, Well, Well, the latest Mason-Dixon poll just came out and the race is now a "dead heat":

Just sit back and read their posts, the minions have no common sense and the economy is getting better for them.
The economy for those who don't suck off the system and have no desire to ever suck off the system will never be able to convince these minions otherwise.
They are fighting for the pay raises they've received under Obama and for all the free crap Obama is forcing down our throats for his minions.
The only thing they will understand will be in January 2013.
The Presidents Story
One sunny day in January, 2013 an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."
The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here."
The old man said, "Okay", and walked away.
The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."
The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here."
The man thanked him and, again, just walked away.
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I've told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?"
The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it."
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir."

~ Dem proposes eliminating BP tax deduction for oil spill cleanup ~
"It was not exactly a surprise to learn that BP believes it is entitled to a $9.9 billion tax benefit, including refunds on taxes paid in previous years, to pay for the cost of cleaning up its own oil spill.
That's right: despite earning $80 billion over the past four years, despite saying that it will pay for the expense of recovery in the Gulf, BP now wants a $10 billion bailout from taxpayers.
It's a horrible idea, and Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) agrees. Today he announced plans to block the taxpayer bailout of BP, promising to introduce legislation that would block BP taking advantage of the deduction and any associated tax credits or refunds."
________
Cause the biggest oil spill in US history - get a tax break to clean up your mess? I don't think so, no matter what Rep. Joe 'Bendover' Barton (R-Tex) has to say about it.
There is no need for the USA to even worry about trying to get back into the manufacturing game. There is no need to even think our country will ever provide jobs like this again after these corporations have screwed america the way they did. No sir these manufacturing jobs will go to where they make the most money. It's no longer "Made in USA".
Last Throes
BP wants a tax credit of $10 billion to use on cleanup but the democrats want the money paid into their hot little fists?
I trust BP to use that money wisely on the cause for which it is intended...I don't trust the Dems to spend that money to clean up the spill.
Just give the money to BP and tell them it is specifically for the cleanup..
That should work out for everyone..except the Rangel types infesting the body politic.

Actually, not surprisingly, you do yourself too big a favor. The reverse is actually true.
The strangest thing about Republicans, is that they cannot even run on their own record. In fact, they avoid the last 30 years of their own record like the plague. Hmmm. I wonder why that is?
Let's see:
1) Reagan--tripled the national debt while cutting taxes for the wealthy (hence reducing income) and increasing government spending. Reagan single-handedly transformed America from a lending nation into a debtor nation.
2) Bush I--doubled the national debt in 4 years, while continuing Reagan's economic policies. A recession at the end of his term got him booted out of office.
3) Clinton--balanced the budget and began paying off the national debt incurred by the previous two presidents. He created a budget surplus by the end of his 8-year term. If the U.S. had followed Clinton's plan, the entire U.S. debt would have been paid off by 2009.
http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/new/html/Fri...
4) Bush II ignored Clinton's plan, returned to the Republican plan of cutting taxes for the wealthy and raising govt spending, and quickly got rid of Clinton's budget surplus. During his term, he doubled the U.S. debt again, ensnared the U.S. in two foreign wars (which we are still paying 11 billion a month on), and delivered up the biggest economic implosion since the Great Depression. Before he left office, he borrowed more money and used it to "save" the Wall Street banks, run by the very CEOs who had received his tax cuts. He then retired very comfortably to Texas--a retirement paid for with our tax dollars.
This is the sordid economic history of the last three Republican presidents. And it is a story that no Republican will mention (it is "taboo" amidst the party) and that of course the Australian billionaire, Rupert Murdoch (ooops! I mean FOX NEWS) does not want the American people to dwell upon either. Hence FOX will never mention it.
The Republicans' basic strategy for diverting attention away from their own catastrophic economic record is to:
1) never mention it
2) encourage everyone to "look forwards, and not back"
3) when anyone does mention it, to say "there you go, blaming Bush again!"
4) blame the present administration for having created the enormous debt in the first place, which of course is an outright lie
5) accuse the present administration of "not balancing the budget" when of course they well know that 95% of economists recommend that the govt temporarily ignore balancing the budget and instead try and "stimulate" an economy stuck in a severe recession.
6) whenever possible, to try and focus people's attention elsewhere--anywhere but on their own past track record--such as on race.
Pathetic. But it does remind me of the old saying: "you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time--but you can't fool ALL of the people ALL of the time."
Nice try, though.

Udde's home performance upgrade is successful because of the value of comfort and energy efficiency.
Today's investment saves not just heating, cooling and structural integrity, but means excellent jobs for specialists wh0ose contributions to their neighbors brings pride and respect as well as obvious other benefits.
In the US, the Energy Star program is quite similar in design. Specialists identify and correct anomalies in ways that improve performance, indoor air quality, carbon footprint, etc.
They get half the money for upgrades back immediately, and the workers are busy. Just as the Swedes are a nation of talented and cognizant stewards of the planet, Americans may pattern our economic and housing retrofits to shadow these European brothers and sisters.
In the US, our plan to regulate the process with trained specialists who have passed the bar set by Building Performance Institute and RESNET, two of our leading energy training organizations.
The description by nitro suggests that people who do not know what is the best thing to do for their homes are in nitro' words 'government serfs' who are clueless.
After several decades of identifying and correcting anomalies within structures, I agree with the European approach because one can NOT know until one has appropriate understanding and oftentimes specialized equipment together with experience to discover what is occurring inside interstitial cavities, thermal bypasses and combustion appliances.
The US approach is based on detailed studies both before and after work is done. It's too bad that nitro would prefer to bash than believe, to attack rather than acquiesce. Must have been a young Swede who beat him up bad in Poland growing up. The world needs the cogent approach, not the urine, vitriol and disrespect.
In the US, a program such as Energy Star has the potential as a game changer for us. Our energy dilemma has only gotten worse in the last fifty years. We are on the verge of permanently terminating our dependence on fossils as we take into our own hands the senseless waste in our structures and transportation sectors.
When combined with an education updraft to include criterion-based graduation and individualized mentoring for those whose choice is to pursue their own path rather than the standard, our future could brighten up a bit in twenty years or so as the progressive awareness and increased pressure to develop ourselves pulls us out of our ranking as about the 35th best country in the world.
under Energy Star we get:
Energy Awareness
Lower utility bills
Lower carbon footprint
Ephemeral applications
Jobs for skilled workers (locals, American jobs)
Healthier indoor air
Independence from terrorists
National security without oil wars
Help me, nitro. This looks sane in my one bright eye.
Just a few facets of progress:
Carbon monoxide poisoning, currently responsible for ~500 deaths per year in the US, is also responsible for 50,000 hospital visits per year and 500,000 days of missed work, per year.
Oxides of nitrogen, beside the acid rain, eats lungs inside our homes.
Radon is being sucked up into our living space killing Americans with lung cancer by the thousands each year. Completely preventable.
Skin cancer is on the rise as our planetary buffers erode from fossil consumption.
Kids think food comes from stores, energy comes from the outlet and google knows everything.
These trends are not sustainable; we are losing our powers going down stupid roads when we know better.
You tell'm udde, Nobody wants to get socked up by teh Swedish boys!
We got called in, for example, to assess the disaster in an old home near one of my farms. Some homeowner had bought an old house without a stitch of insulation. His first effort seemed logical: He insulated the attic with blown-in cellulose with his wife and brother-in-law helping. Three days later after noticing a couple of brown spots on the ceiling sheetrock that morning before work, he came home and found the insulation and soggy sheetrock on his bed, floor, bathroom, you got the picture?
WHY he moaned. Nobody checked to see whether the ceiling was an air barrier. It wasn't. It had large gaps around the ceiling-mounted warm air registers, a big hole in the ceiling of a closet open to the attic, and numerous other penetrations allowing the warm moist household air to sneak up into the now colder attic, contact the cold underside of the roof and condense so it fell back into the house, along with the ceiling!
Five minutes of a check could have prevented disaster, but nobody told him.
Go nitro. Show us your stuff. Blow, baby, blow!
And Udde, the guy was a Swede I think. Blonde hair, tall, handsome, curious with a very beautiful young blonde wife. Blue eyes, good jobs, friendly. Liked Aqua-Vit!
That's the kind of people I cotton to - guts to err and err and err again but less and less and less!
Home repair is energy conservation, carbon reduction, jobs and infrastructure development, cave banger!
Success is counted in incrementals, nitrodreaming.
The one Euro turns like a worm in Sweden - first the contractor and his family who buy fresh fish from the dock and sweaters from the store. Then the fisherman's wife gets new nets from the... About ten Euros in commerce and societal impact from transactions. Not to mention the joy of social intercourse. How different from your isolationist cave-banging existence, just awaiting your chance to blow!

nitro, my fellow earthling wandering that lonely road,
Finding decency is not hard. It fills up the hole that your words say dominates your heart.
Remember 'Nails'??? The theory that to a hammer, everything looks like a nail?
Lay down yo' hammuh, blasting cap!
Look at the love in that cloud, totin the vapors of the day up to wash away the crap and feed the fields.
Watch that noisy little girl laugh at the goofy ... for three seconds and see how goofy it is because I'm telling you for certain it IS goofy!
You're missing the cloud, the sun and the planet. Life's not so bad on the little blue ball unless that's what you feel are your best possible interpretaions of this brief dance on a rolling rolicking frolic in paradise, small explosion.
Hey, airweare, I don't know and besides don't want to know what kind of weed you were smoking just before you wrote your last "frolic" comment, but if anybody charged me the slightest dime on my little banana selling business, I'd be broke in one day, because I am living from day to day selling my banana from my little banana boat on the streets, living from hand to mouth, period, end of story.
Regards
Banana_Joe
If anybody here charged my buddy, Banana_Joe, any further dime for selling his banana on the streets here, that one would risk a broken nose, because I would invite him/her to my new martial arts training center to teach her/him some lesson about making small businesses going broke by charging them extra dime.
Yo Joe,
It's being a geezer an' seein the struggling and flaggin spirits that stirs me to look at the sky and the noisy little girl. Just a walk in the park amid the noise and haste.
Maybe a couple hits a French roast, and that stinky green skunky junk that grows under the high wires over on BLM lands about a quarter mile walk from my grandson's fence.
You can smell it. Wakes a feller like me up when a gentle evening breeze wafts that crystal glitter across my dreams. I blink em and sniff a couple a times and go look. No skunk. I walk in the moonlight toward the scent like a good doggie. Voila! Birds delivered me some cushy skunkitude! LMAO chirp, puff
I like bananas, Joe. We start the party off with bananas and oats with raisins and French roast and wake and take in the auras.
Rollicking has two l's; sorry, I hate when I look fuqing dumb.

Obama tried this with his stimulus package and it didn't work.
FDR tried this harder with his and it did work, right up until when he stopped. Then, nitro, THEN, BALOOEY! It stopped working.
Ya see, mr. skipped History but know how everything is, when the greedy guys went belly up and those dollar an hour jobs went away, the government picked up the responsibility of keeping the lights on.
From your self-admitted high position with massive self-acclaimed wealth, you seem to have lost what most folks call perspective.
Good luck with that. I join the Swede and leave you to your continued cave-dwelling, isolationist, self-determined, GIGO outlook!
I want an ethics investigation of Reid. What did he promise the banks to loan 8.5 billion dollars on a White Elephant? Gamming is a dead horse and the banks know this. Even when the economy recovers, which it will do soon as the feds get thier fingers out of the pie, Gaming will still be dead as far as Nevada goes, to many other places to go that are a lot closer to home. Waters used her influence with the banks and she is being investigated. MGM bankrupt? How could they afford to donate so much money to Dirty Harrys Coffers? After November we need to IMPEACH Barry or what ever his name is.
People have to be nuts to vote for Sharron Angle. What a self-destructive action for Nevada. Nevada needs to go forward but they want to elect this regressive woman? She and her ilk are the very reasons this state is in such dire straits.
This cowardly woman refuses to answer media questions. Why? Will she debate Reid? No, she won't. She has used every cowardly excuse to avoid debate, claiming that the debate must be by her rules. It seems preposterous to me that anyone would vote for someone that manipulative.
We are in this financial mess precisely because of the backward thinking of people like Angel. Why replace one of the most powerful Senators with a newbie that will be marginalized from the get-go?
Angel's record speaks for itself. She would be the worst thing for this state.
hey hitro,
I agree with all that ya quoted there. Makes great sense to me, been there (manufactured and imported) and done that (invested in the home boys, too)
What grabs me the strongest is the consumption whack! Yahooo. Tax the piss out of luxurious grandiose mansions. If the Bentley only gets 8 mpg, it's still worth it for that kinda style, roight, mate?
Just the property tax in NY was enough for Limbaugh to walk last week. Now when we do as you suggest and bring this sword to bear on the housing and transportation sectors, community will prosper. Been there, done that. Legislate efficiency.
So you have actually politely copied and pasted but not attributed by name. Nothing in this piece seems at all illogical. What does seem illogical is your bold and unfounded assumption that for some reason, airweare would not see the wisdom of your unnamed Joe.
What's wrong with Comparative Lit?
I sponsored a young fella who majored in Comparative Lit/Pre-med, got a full football scholarship, graduated magna cum laude and then picked up an MD.
Is it your view that a well-rounded human being is inferior to some technical college geek?
Does your technical college geek bill out at $250/hr? Sit on Boards?
Again nit,
whatever policy it appears to you that I may favor for some reason or other would most likely rest on an accurate reading of history, of our current realm and of its forces.
Ya want to tell us how many thousands of homes you have built, rebuilt, commissioned? How many thousands of jobs you've created by simple application of scoop the poop and thank the power out here for no power company bill?
Go ahead hotshot with copy and paste, name your source. And tell us how you have made this shared experience a proud reflection of your lifetime contributions of earnest development for mind and body!
It looks like Mark Traeger copied this letter from a rightwing propaganda website.
No mention of the legislation obstructed by Republicans that would have provided tax breaks and job creation incentives to small businesses?
Bush and cronies trashed America for the benefit of the rich and powerful, hurting the middle class and small businesses in the process. Try educating yourself rather than spewing partisan talking points.
Mark Traeger claims to be a small business owner and he is just waiting? Waiting for what?
I am a small business owner and doing fine, yea, I work harder than the good ole Clinton years, but I never wait for others to do things for me. Adapt to the present day situation and move forward.
BTW.... Reid may not be the greatest, but Angle? Seriously? She hasn't been right about anything and not much chance that will change in the future.
I don't know who I will vote for yet, I do know I would never vote for Angle. Our leaders are supposed to be smarter than we are. Angle?
Can the Republicans offer anyone with a brain that is not a crook? Not lately, and almost never in Nevada.
You people just don't get it. The American middle class MUST cut taxes for the ultra rich and THEN they will give us jobs. Until then, you lazy spoiled citizenry should be apologizing to BP for swindling Big Oil for some Obama slush fund for the gulf coast leeches.
florishes,
howling catcalls and whoop de doos.
bloggity, bloggity, art!
human beings, don't waste their time with this kind of stuff.
you just said jobs, energy and environment WERE important.
Now you say not. Which is it? never mind, nit; you're not worth it. Who cares? You don't.
don't waste their time with this kind of stuf
Housing, energy, food production, cultivation, culture, education, community, law, art, science.
No they're too busy at the slots or bangin away at the dreamy keyboard, posting non-sequiturs, baseless strawmen and uninformed ad hominems, between vodkas.
Youth is wasted on the young, especially the wasted ones!
Hey, gogo, here's the tale of two polls. The first one sampled likely voters and the second registered voters, which are not exactly the same demographic. I think the first one shocked the RJ, so they commissioned a new sample. Whatever. The powerful Reid GOTV effort will make the difference once early voting starts. It is too late for Angle to put together an effective field operation.
I know that many younger fiscal conservatives who are socially moderate don't like Angle's extremism and are planning to vote NOTA or skip the election.
Ask yourself the following questions:
What big spending bills has Harry Reid NOT voted for?
Is pork something to be proud of, or is it stealing from the other 49 states to buy votes?
When state and federal governments waste much of what they appropriate and give much away to others that is of questionable benefit; mismanage and ruin much of what they touch, is big government a good thing?
When was the last time any bureaucracy was more efficient than a private business?
Can the claim that a sizable tax base is necessary for progress be an honest one when government and bureaucracies waste and mismanage so much?
In light of Harry Reids actual recorded on the job performance, back room deals, obvious lies to America and Nevadans, who wouldn't be a safer choice?
Can we really afford six more years of big spending bills, that no one read, that are written by lobbyists and partisan staffers, that no one understands, that will take months and hundreds of lawyers to actually write the legal language that they want to enact the intent of the bill according to their interpretation?
If you can honestly answer all of those questions yes, than by all means vote for not so harmless Harry.
If Angle gets elected, Nevada will become the laughingstock of the country! Can you imagine her in the US Senate? LOL
I'm more embarrassed by Reid than I ever could be by Angle. He's a buffoon who does the party bidding, produces no good results, and harms the country with every big spending - I'm gladly taking the country down crapper - bill he champions.
Sharon Angle is a poor candidate, but would make a much better senator. She would not be the majority leader and couldn't hurt us as badly as Reid.
If all she ever did was show up and vote NO to every tax raising big bankruptcy bill, she would be a success.
If she actually stuck up for individual rights instead of voting to take them away, she would be an unqualified success.
Harry Reid passed more important bills than any
Majority Leader in history.
All of these bills are needed by us average and
low income workers.
The Democratic agenda was voted by the majority
of Americans when they voted for President
Obama.
It takes spending to fix the Bush-Republican
Mess.
You greedy, selfish republicans never did care
about the average American.
Harry Reid is 1000 times better than Angle.
I'm a business owner too, and she is an idiot.
Teamster: My oldest brother was a teamster, I use to be a shop stewart for the Culinaryunion, now Unions here in Nevada have been taken over by Hispanics, before you call me a racist, hear me out. In 1993, I worked at a major casino on the las vegas strip. I was approached by an Hispanic Business agent who asked me to join him, and I suppose others to help them take over the Culinary Union, I told him that I worked for all union members not just for Blacks, and hispanics. That in and of it self was racist, he wanted me to help push White employees out of work.I am black, and he was hispanic, he said the Blacks and Mexicans can take over the Union. I even reported this to a very high official who is still working for the Culinary Union. I refused to be a part of that, but he was right; most non hispanics can't get a Job out of the Union halls across Vegas. This is your senators voting record on some of the important bills you mentioned. I hope Sharron Angle send Senator reid back to Searchlight, I am sick of this corruption, There is absolutely nothing wrong with Mrs. Angle approach to the news media, I don't blame her for not wanting to talk with any of them, Jon Rolston made himself look like a fool by the way the attacked her in his face to face interview, anyway I respect Mr. Reid as a Man, but as a Politician; he stinks. Here is you Senator's voting recond on Illegal Immigration.
Voted YES on continuing federal funds for declared "sanctuary cities".
Voted YES on comprehensive immigration reform.
Voted NO on declaring English as the official language of the US government.
Voting YES would declare English as the national language of the Government of the US. Unless s
Voted YES on eliminating the "Y" nonimmigrant guestworker program.
Voted NO on building a fence along the Mexican border.
Voted YES on establishing a Guest Worker program.
Voting YES establishes a guest worker program with a path to citizenship for illegal aliens
Voted YES on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
Voting YEA would table (kill) the proposed amendment to prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving
Voted YES on allowing more foreign workers into the US for farm work.
Vote to create a national registry containing names of U.S. workers who want to perform temporary or seasonal work
Voted YES on visas for skilled workers.
Voted NO on limit welfare for immigrants.
Sharron Angle will beat Senator Reid come November, how shameful that some are stuck into there party, and forgot that we are American. Senator Reid don't seem to be concerned about American Citizens. I know Democrats, Republican, and Independents who supports Sharron Angle, we are all sick of Reid, and Oboma.
@nitro, airweare: Let's post something outrageous:
'I'm not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean

Religion, is a smile on a dog
I'm not aware of too many things

But, thanks for the English lesson, everything has been wonderful.

Banana_Joe
Ok, Banana_Joe, neither you nor me are going to vote for that Angle character/strawwoman anyway.
So, now let's get back to my new martial arts center to train some new moves, ok?
Thank you, Chuck Norris, ok, let's get out of here and train for the next fight. Bye bye.
@pmontg53:
Mind your language and orthography.
In case of doubt use the spell checker, please, while proving your eloquence.
Thanks in advance.
Chuck-Norris, I am not concerned with a spell check, I'm more concerned about getting Harry Reid out of office, your comment was on a blasted spell check." mind your language and orthography; This country is being flushed down the toilet, most readers get the geist, your education level is no concern to me or most voters. Harry Reid's record is a concern. I responded to a Reid supporter- Teamster who bragged about Senator Reids voting record, I brought the fact that he seem to have more concern about illegal aliens, then U.S Citizens. Please don't waste your time with refering me to check for grammar, I can careless about your educated foolishness
breathe deep 53,
hang on there.
It's Chuck Norris you're a'barkin at.
Harry may be the devil in a suit, but don't go pissin in the wind, or tuggin on no cape.
It could be over in a heartbeat with no sign, no mark, just your bad smell
@pmontg53:
You got to be kidding me. Guess what: you just sound like my famous comedian Sheryl Underwood, I mean it. So keep posting, buddy, go ahead and make me laughing my f_cking a_s off:

@airweare: No pun intended.
I like Sheryl without the make-up when she reminds me a Wesley Snipes ... after the buffet.
Gotcher back, Chuck.
air
Yep 'n' yup, airweare, Sheryl does not need any martial arts training, because she is invincible by means of her words and talks. She is definitely great fun to see, watch and listen to.
I will never forget when watching her and Queen Latifah in the movie "Beauty Shop". Check it out:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388500/
Angle wants the press to be her friend and yet she runs away from them. She also want the press to ask questions she wants to answer. Hehehehe. Way to go Repukeblicans.
Let the DEBATES begin!!!! Bravo Repukeblicans!!!!
Back to the topic" Take it from a business owner, Angle is right". This is the topic for discussion, I have not had one reid supporter to speak about his voting record on immigration, some of you are purposely being a distraction, let's talk about politics: this is not about Sheryl, Queen Lafifah, martial arts training, Norris, airweare, and especially jbkayaker12, you said let the debate begin, but not one of you chickens have addressed my points on Senator Reids voting Record as it refers to illegal immigration, he supports welfare for what some call immigrants, he voted against building a border fense; that would keep our borders safe, American Citizens are being killed in border towns by illegal aliens, and you have time to joke about things that are meanlingless. You are the kind of people that will have a party in the middle of a war zone. You make silly comments about Sharron Angle, atleast she seem to care about the lives of U.S Citizens,,, Harry Reid is for open borders, he caters to the so call Hispanic vote, Time to get officials in office that cares about all Citizens, and does not cater to any particular voting block. Spell check that. I am willing to debate with anyone, or all three of you Reid supporters, right her and right now.
airweare, again my concern is not with Chuck-Norris, Wesley Snipes, or anyone else, any rational minded person should be concerned about getting Senator Harry Reid out of office, he needs to get out of office, still not one of you have addressed his voting record, even Teamster who bragged on what he said was a good voting record, good for who? Illegal Aliens
I love reading how normal people try to speak to the liberals. Get a clue; they're fighting tooth and nail to keep the redistribution of our money into their accounts. Show be a liberal who has any use, I'll show a slow dumb ass lazy no good for nothing person every time.
The cure to make America better is to get rid of the socialist programs and stop taking care of the liberals. They have no desire to work let alone become productive members of society, they're useless and we know it.
Thanks its2hot,
for sharing your
"slow dumb ass lazy no good for nothing person"
I applaud your willingness to portray the spirit of 'anti-' with such vociferous aplomb.
It's great of you to entertain us all with your comic relief. You are masterful and an absolute treasure for our community.
Keep up the masquerade!
I love reading how idiots think.
Hate is such a killer.
It gobbles up gratitude and understanding, and haters just stumble and fart unthinking their way through avoidance of sight, hearing, and other human traits.
Blinded by the light.

Take away a man's work and you burden his soul. What to do with all this talent, these carefully honed skills?
Researchers at Stanford find how, for many workers, the chance to make something better or slicker or more efficient whatever is way more important than a raise. A mention of what she had done at the meeting and applause scaled above monetary fluff.
"if - then" carrots and sticks hold not a candle to the motivation from inside - the intrinsic desire to produce, make, improve, whatever - some outward reflection of the drive inside.
A pink slip cuts a guy off from his driving wheel.
What remains unclear to me its2hot,
is how one could draw a connection between a liberal acceptance of diversity, freedoms and opportunities to develop ourselves together with a socialist program when we employ you, offer you and your family health insurance, 401Ks, bonuses and paid vacations.
By developing our opportunities through our liberal personal investments in infrastructure and services, our society has some of the best available ever on the planet.
Wars, idiots and connivers slow us down, but liberators of the downtrodden appear to have the mighty mo in their court last couple a centuries, huh?
airweare, What about my question regarding Senator Reid's horrific voting record, on immigration. He Voted against building the border fense, voted for so called aliens to recieve Walfare, that mens free medical care on the un tax payer, what about public education, it's politicians like Harry Reid who are sucking the life out of America. Anyone can google his voting Record, look at his take on Immigration. For all of you Reid Supporters check out his record. Our Borders are being over ran, we are losing our homes and jobs, illegal aliens are thriving, and Harry is looking the other way
Chuck-Norris is out of the Ring looking for his teeth.
I can only talk about Chuck Norris not spending too much time in the boxing ring to fight whomever down. Mostly Chuck Norris has much too much work to do on the set:
