Metro Police released a surveillance photo today of the suspect who robbed the Treasure Island casino earlier this week.

Officials said the suspect entered the casino and hung around the cashier cage for about 20 minutes before committing the robbery at 9:55 p.m. Monday.

The man demanded money from the cashier and fled with a small amount of money that was later recovered, police said.

Officials closed the Mirage parking garage Monday night as they searched for the suspect, but so far, the suspect has remained at large.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 25 to 35 years old and about 170-190 pounds. Between 5-foot-8-inches and 5-foot-11-inches tall, the suspect is clean shaven with a medium build.

Metro Police ask anyone with information to call the robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
