Georgia Neu is Nevada director of No Place for Hate for the Anti-Defamation League. Before joining the Anti-Defamation League, Neu served as the Southern Nevada representative for Nevada Humanities, a statewide nonprofit organization, where she helped coordinate the Vegas Valley Book Festival.

Brett Barratt is commissioner of the Insurance Division for Nevada. Beginning in February 2005, Barratt served as the insurance counsel/hearing officer for the division. In October 2009, he became the chief insurance assistant for the division, and since June, he has been the acting commissioner of insurance. A graduate of the Michigan University College of Law, Barratt earned his law degree in 2003. He is a member of the Nevada State Bar Association’s Insurance and Health Law Section.

Shan Davis is an associate in the Las Vegas office of Duane Morris.

Michelle Holbert and Marianne Foti are broker/salespeople for Exclusive Realty of Las Vegas.

Michele Ashley is practice administrator for the Gastric Band Institute of Las Vegas.

Jody Lake is senior vice president and general manager of M Resort. He is responsible for all facets of operations at the resort. Before joining M Resort, Lake was a general manager for various properties with Station Casinos.

Salvador Diaz III is wealth management adviser for Mutual of Omaha Bank. Based in the bank’s office at 8337 W. Sunset Road, Diaz will work with high net worth individuals and institutions in Las Vegas.

Goodwill of Southern Nevada President and CEO Steve Chartrand has been appointed by Gov. Jim Gibbons to serve on the Nevada State Rehabilitation Council.

Jackie Chambers is director of member services for the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Chambers will supervise membership sales, membership retention, advertising sales and event sponsorship sales.

Angie Wipper and Cody Villarreal are academic counselors at the Southwest campus, Lesley Hettinger is academic counselor at the Washington campus, Becky Stiltz was promoted to financial counselor at the Washington campus, and Nicole Mantu and Rachel Schoch are financial counselors at the Washington campus of University of Phoenix.

David Winchell is senior vice president of investments and financial adviser for UBS Financial Services in the company’s Summerlin office.

Corporate Giving

City National Bank started its clothing drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada. Clothing bins have been placed in all City National Bank and Sun West Bank offices and will be available through Aug. 8.

ARCPoint, a newly opened company that performs drug tests and criminal background checks for businesses, provides access to a list of businesses it has certified for consumers at www.arcpoint.info.
