Shooting location
A 21-year-old man was taken to University Medical Center after he was found in a park Friday afternoon with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Metro Police spokeswoman Officer Barbara Morgan said the man arrived at the hospital before 4 p.m. after being shot at Circle Park near Essex Circle and Evergreen Place. She said the extent of his injuries is unknown.
That location is near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard.
Police were searching the area for the shooter but hadn't closed any streets. No descriptions of a suspect have been given, Morgan said.

bape702- your typical uninformed but opinionated blogger. Or maybe he found humor in someone being shot.
UMC Trauma saved my life. The rest of the hospital could desperately use to be torn down and rebuilt, since it's insanely dirty and old, but they do know what they are doing there, at least in trauma.
actually UMC's critical care unit is one of the best in the country.
UMC's critical care unit just gets a lot of practice, even someone who stops in with a head cold ends up in critical condition.
umc saved my life too...it did take 9 hours to be seen though
The Trauma at UMC is one of the best, but the rest of the hospital sucks.
After you done with at Trauma Center get out and go to a hospital that will take care of you, just like all the rich people do.
The employees at the hospital are more intrested in the pay check, than actualy doing something to get it.

Bape, none of the other hospitals in Las Vegas even have a level 1 trauma center dumb@ss. TICU saves lives.
Outside of UMC's TICU the rest of the hospital does suck, but where else are all of the illegals gonna rape our health care?
