Participants from the 2009 Sun Youth Forum will discuss a wide range of issues at 8 p.m. Sunday on Cox Cable Channel 110.
Sun founder Hank Greenspun came up with the idea for the Youth Forum in 1955, and the first group of students met the following year.
Nearly 1,000 students from high schools throughout Clark County participated in the November forum, meeting in small discussion groups moderated by leaders in business, education, community service and government.
The students appearing in Sunday’s program were selected by their peers from seven discussion groups: Around the World, America, Home in Nevada, School Days, Teen Topics, Law and Crime, Potpourri.
The program will be re-broadcast at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14.
