Sarah Palin to give keynote speech at Las Vegas convention

Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and John McCain’s 2008 running mate, will be in Las Vegas in April to speak at the convention of Wine & Spirit Wholesalers of America.

Palin will be the keynote speaker during the opening general session of the trade group’s convention, which runs from April 6 to 8 at Caesars Palace.

“Governor Palin is a great supporter of America’s free enterprise system and understands that industries like the beverage alcohol industry play a key role in driving our national economy. We're proud and honored to welcome her as a speaker,” said association President Craig Wolf. “We expect she will share with the convention attendees her analysis of the current political environment and her vision for America’s future.”

The opening session of the convention will also include the presentation of the group’s Sidney Frank Award and an address from the group’s new COO, John Baker. The convention also includes the Hot Brand Awards, a general business session, networking receptions and a wine and spirits tasting competition.
