Behind every beautiful woman is an amazing hairstylist. And if you're Nicky Hilton, Jenny McCarthy or Britney Spears, the hair extraordinaire is Kim Vo. Not only is Vo; a Hollywood A-lister's "mane" man, he's a celebrity himself.

Appearing on Bravo's Shear Genius, the internationally renowned colorist and beauty expert introduced his innovative, ultra-swank salon and beauty bar concept to The Mirage in March 2008. The "King of TV Makeovers" sat down with Las Vegas Magazine to discuss what he loves about the city.

Energy: I am so in love with the lights. I come here every week, and every time I get off the plane and see the lights I get so excited — it's almost like Christmas all year around.

Fashion Show: I love shopping and it has my favorite store — Zara.

The Beatles': Love: Without prostituting The Mirage too much, I love Love. I enjoy Cirque du Soleil — I really enjoy the artistic element — but sometimes I don't understand the story. The message in Love is so clear; it is about love, energy and the music.

Bellagio Conservatory: I love to look at the scenery and see what they've done. The exhibits bring a bit of a nice (rural) feel to the Strip. And being Asian, I love when they do the Chinese New Year.

Kim Vo Salon: We wanted the same boutique feeling as our Beverly Hills salon. But it's hard to make a 5,000-square-foot space feel like a boutique. We worked with the architects to incorporate curvatures so it doesn't feel like a bowling alley. And there is a yin-yang feeling with the spa and salon; there are no boundaries between the two.

Joël Robuchon (at MGM Grand): I've never eaten such amazing food — 28 different bread selections. They literally went through each bread and what it is. It was an experience, but a once-in-a lifetime experience.
