Obama to visit Las Vegas next week to discuss economy

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama will be returning to Las Vegas next week to visit with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, business leaders and residents about the economy, sources confirmed today.

Obama will have a couple of events next Friday as he showcases the work he and Reid are doing together to address the economic challenges facing Nevada.

The trip is not expected to include a fundraiser specifically for Reid.

The president is expected to arrive Thursday and stay overnight in Las Vegas prior to the Friday events.
