Metro ends probe into suspicious object at Laughlin casino

The Metro Police armored unit and bomb squad called off an investigation of a suspicious object hanging on a water pump near the AVI Resort and Casino in Laughlin on Friday.

Metro spokeswoman Officer Barbara Morgan said officers received a call about 10:30 a.m. that something was hanging on a water pump station in the 10000 block of Aha Mocav Parkway. She said the area was secured by officers.

Police wouldn't reveal what the suspicious object was.
