Henderson police end probe into suspicious package

Authorities have called off an investigation into a suspicious package after examining the contents of an unattended suitcase.

Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said officers received a call about 12:20 p.m. that an unattended suitcase had been left at the Sun City McDonald Ranch, 2020 West Horizon Ridge Parkway. He said the bomb squad and the Metro Police armored unit were investigating the call, but found nothing suspicious inside the suitcase.

He said no evacuations were made during the investigation.
