Nicole Eggert at Tabu
It was a long Las Vegas weekend of birthday parties for visiting Hollywood stars. First up was Wilmer Valderrama of That ’70s Show fame, who is starring in the film adaptation of CHiPs, celebrating his 30th at longtime friend Eva Longoria Parker’s nightclub Eve in Crystals at CityCenter.
Wilmer’s group of 15 party people surprised him with custom birthday T-shirts beforehand over dinner at Eva’s steakhouse Beso. The party enjoyed a family-style feast of the Desperate Housewives star’s guacamole, brick oven chicken, signature steaks and salmon before heading upstairs to Eve to the VIP section. Fans and friends cheered while the actor was presented with a decked-out birthday cake celebration, and Wilmer partied and danced the night away.
After the 2010 Miss America Pageant in Planet Hollywood, pageant judge and actress Vivica A. Fox, joined by close friend and actress Regina King, also dined at Beso. The gal pals enjoyed the petit filet Oscar and the lobster mashed potatoes. On the red carpet, Vivica said the crowning of Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron as the new 2010 Miss America had been really exciting. The ladies also went upstairs to Eve.
Nicole Eggert turns 38
Former Baywatch beauty and Charles in Charge starlet Nicole Eggert celebrated her 38th birthday with 15 friends and family at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand. Nicole reveled in the spotlight with partygoers because it was her final night on the town before her get-fit regimen begins as she joins VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club. Our loyal Vegas DeLuxe reader Richard Corey was on the red carpet for his video on YouTube:
Nicole admitted to red carpet onlookers that she is excited to get her beach body back. Tom Felton, Harry Potter’s Draco Malfoy, joined Nicole for the festivities. For Nicole, who danced on the tables with her friends, the highlight of the evening was the surprise three-tier, pink and white birthday cake with low-cal raspberry filling. Friends who sang “Happy Birthday” surrounded her. “This is the final sweet treat before I hit the gym with the co-stars on Celebrity Fit Club,” Nicole said.
Party hostess Kirsten Dunst
Actress Kirsten Dunst treated her best friend Jessica to a Las Vegas weekend for her birthday, kicking off with dinner in the private dining room at Lavo in the Palazzo. Friends including Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis and her boyfriend singer Jonathan Rice devoured a meal that including the Kobe meatball while sipping champagne. Kirsten surprised the bashful birthday girl with a cake while the group sang “Happy Birthday.”
After dinner, they took over a VIP table in the nightclub and danced until 3 a.m. to the sounds of DJ Skratchy. In search of more hip-hop, the girls ventured to Tao for a late set requested by Kirsten. Afterward, they stopped at the blackjack tables before ending the night as dawn came up. Kirsten continued their weekend the next night with dinner at Tao in The Venetian, followed by a VIP table upstairs on the dance floor. The group also had lunch at Dos Caminos in the Palazzo while in town.
