A fire in Henderson caused about $10,000 in damage to a single-family, two-story home in the Whitney Ranch area on Thursday.
Firefighters responded at about 4:30 p.m., four minutes after they received the call. Fire officials said the home at 808 Long Branch St., near the intersection of Sunset Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard, had a fire in a first-floor bedroom when firefighters arrived.
The residents, who called 911, were able to safely exit the home, officials said, and no one was injured. It took firefighters about five minutes to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
