The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a man killed Thursday morning in a wrong-way crash on the Russell Road bridge over Interstate 15 near the Strip.
Irain Pacheco-Veloz, 32, of Las Vegas, died in the crash, but the coroner hasn't determined a cause of death.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers believe alcohol might have been a factor in the crash, which happened at 2:51 a.m. Thursday in a construction zone.
A Toyota Camry driven by Pacheco-Veloz was eastbound in the westbound lanes of Russell Road when it was hit by a gray Scion traveling westbound, NHP Trooper Joseph Fackrell said.
Pacheco-Veloz was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Scion was taken to the hospital for injuries that weren't life-threatening, authorities said.

Plymouth Scion...wow....what great reporting. It is a Scion, they are made by Toyota. Just saying, if you are going to report, make sure that you get even the little facts are correct.
You're right, BeSafe, the police report had it wrong and it got carried over to the story. It's fixed. Thank you.
