The Silverton Casino Lodge is taking Santa Claus a little out of his element for his yearly visit with area children.
For the next three weekends, St. Nick will shed the red suit and don scuba gear as he’s submerged in the Silverton’s 117,000-gallon aquarium. The rest of the routine will be the same -- kids should bring a list, and one of Santa’s elves will give them a microphone to talk with Santa.
Santa will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas.
Parents are encouraged to bring their camera. For more information, call 702-263-7777.
