Metro Police are asking for the public's help in gathering more information about Eugene Lynch, 57, who was found dead in downtown Las Vegas in early July.
Officials said homicide detectives have not been able to find Lynch's residence or family and friends. Lynch was found dead July 8 in an alley off the 300 block of South 3rd Street.
Police said they believe Lynch frequented downtown Las Vegas, possibly living in a weekly apartment or motel room in the area. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt and maroon cowboy boots, officials said.
Police described Lynch as white, about 5-feet-11-inches tall and 160 pounds. He had gray hair, including a moustache, and green eyes, officials said.
Lynch's last known address was an apartment in the 700 block of East Flamingo Road, police said.
Officials are asking anyone with information about Lynch to contact Metro's homicide section at (702) 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
