Police investigate fatal shooting in West Las Vegas

Fatal shooting

Metro Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in West Las Vegas.

Police were called just before 3 p.m. by someone who reported a man with a gun standing over the body of another man in the 1000 block of Silverman Way, which is near H Street and Owens Avenue, Officer Jay Rivera said.

Police are looking for a black man who was wearing a bright yellow shirt and blue or black pants.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Metro’s homicide section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
