Scott Dickensheets, formerly editor of the print edition of Las Vegas Weekly, is now a columnist for the Las Vegas Sun at the Greenspun Media Group. Sarah Feldberg, who was editor of the online edition of Las Vegas Weekly, will also serve as print editor for the publication.
Lisa Zastrow and Josh Correlli are associates with Kaempfer Crowell Renshaw Gronauer & Fiorentino. Zastrow has experience in business and commercial litigation, constitutional law, professional malpractice defense employment law and construction defect. Correlli focuses on business, corporate, real estate and finance transactions and general civil litation.
Touro University Nevada School of Occupational Therapy’s director, Yvonne Randall, was elected speaker of the Representative Assembly of the American Occupational Therapy Association.

The Fourth Annual Women of Color Conference, hosted by the Asian, Urban, Latin and Women’s chambers of commerce, will be Aug. 15-16 at Mandalay Bay. About 300 women and men are expected to attend.
Glenda Hatchett, author and star of Judge Hatchett, will present “Am I My Sister’s Keeper?” focusing on the importance of building networks and support systems to help each other achieve success.
Marshawn Evans, author, entertainment attorney and president of ME Unlimited, will speak on what strategies led to her success.
In addition to the lectures and workshops, the conference will feature a career center where participants can obtain professional advice from certified career coaches.
In Business Las Vegas is one of the co-sponsors of the conference.

Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NCET), will host the fourth annual “NCET Entrepreneur Expo” at the South Point from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 15. The Expo, the culminating event of eWeek, is free to attend.
The Expo is designed exclusively for business-to-small-businesses and for people planning to start a small business. More than 1,000 people will attend the event that features exhibits, speakers and panels that provide the resources and expert advice needed to successfully start or grow a business.
Cost for an 8x8 booth is $350 or $150 for nonprofit groups, educational and governmental agencies. Speakers and panelists will address topics crucial to small businesses.
Exhibitors will include professional services like attorneys and accountants, agencies that assist small businesses with advice and training programs, state, county and local business licensing businesses, funding sources, educational institutions with programs designed for small businesses and consultants who address marketing, management, IT and finance and other areas.
