A Las Vegas man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend to death outside the fast-food restaurant where she worked has been indicted by a grand jury.
Kevin Marquette Gipson, 26, was indicted on one count of murder with a deadly weapon in connection with the slaying of 22-year-old Brittney Lavoll, who was shot to death March 22 as she reported for work at the Jack in the Box at 7510 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
The indictment was unsealed Wednesday.
Lavoll was the mother of two of Gipson’s children. An arrest report indicated Gipson was upset with Lavoll over problems related to seeing his children.
Gipson is set to be arraigned May 5 in front of District Court Judge David Barker. He was arrested the day after the shooting and is being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center.

Great work Gipson - now your kids won't have a mother or father in their life. Something tells me Lavoll had good reason to protect her children from their father.
looks like a nice fellow, I know he had a bad childhood that's why he did it
He could care less about them kids
He still look upset ...
