Andy Vargas currently shares his vocal talents alongside guitar legend Carlos Santana and the Santana band, who perform their resident show, "Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through the Hits," at the Hard Rock Hotel.

A California native, Vargas began performing in his father's mariachi band at the age of 6 and quickly learned that music was his passion. Besides exciting Vegas crowds with his impressive vocal skills, Vargas is set to release his own album, "Soulero."

He recently sat down with "Las Vegas Magazine" to chat about his top Vegas spots.

Noodles at Bellagio: They have the best noodle soup anywhere. I also like Firefly, the tapas bar on Paradise.

Wayne Brady: I think he has so much energy, and I think to be able to make stuff up off the top of his head and have it be entertaining is just amazing. He's a great singer, too, and just a great all-around comic.

Hard Rock clothing stores: I go downstairs at the Hard Rock to John Varvatos or Affliction, and I go right before I'm supposed be onstage, and I walk into those shops and look around and see what I want to wear and I always, always find something.

Florida Cafe (1401 Las Vegas Blvd. S.): I like the local spots and this place has the best Cuban food.

Clubs: Wasted Space and Vanity, all the people that work there are like family — they treat us great and take care of us. The music and DJs are always happening.

Live musical acts: I think this city has some great hidden gems for live music. Sin City Sinners, they perform all over the city, and they're amazing. I also like Diana Diaz, she plays at the Fontana Lounge at Bellagio.
