Gov. Jim Gibbons is dismissing a report by a Washington, D.C., watchdog group that listed him among the worst governor's in the nation.
Gibbons through his campaign criticized the Internet search method used by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as questionable and suspect, and called the group "liberal mudslingers."
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger also made the list.
Of the 11 governors listed, all but two are Republicans.

I'm a 19 yr. resident of Las Vegas and I'm here to tell you that Jim Gibbons is the worst thing that's ever happened to this state. He's a despicable human being, i.e. liar, infidel, womanizer...I can go on ad infinitum. He's on a major ego trip and doesn't give a damn about the people of this state. He's a total ideologue who would rather try to hurt the President than to try and help his constituents. I thought he should have been impeached a long time ago. He's certainly given us the grounds to do so.
Yes, these islamo-communistico-liberals are not fit to lick the boots of Gov. Gibbons. Gov. Gibbons is the greatest Republican politician since Abe Lincoln. Look at how he lowered taxes ... on his 40 acre sagebrush "ranch" in Elko county. Look at his stimulus package of earmarks for his campaign contributors at Eetrepid, Sierra Nevada Corp and others. Look at his program to increase our dosage of health giving mercury from mining operations. Look at his handling of the Southern Nevada Endoscopy case. Look at his handling of domestic terrorist Chrizzy Mazzeo. When Gov. Gibbons saw those big bombs Chrizzy had hidden in her sweater he made a citizens arrest in the name of homeland security. We Republicans must work hard for our Gov. Gibbons re-election. God bless Gov. Gibbons. Any criticism of Gov. Gibbons provides aid and comfort to the terrorists. Remember, you are either with Gov. Gibbons or you are with the terrorists.

Amazingly the majority of Nevadans, of course, agree Gibbons is one of the worst governor in the nation. The gov continues his denial, but he did get another free sound bite for his broke reelection campaign.

I think CREW has a great reputation. There lists include both Republicans and Democrats, left and right.
Crew also filed a complaint with the FTC and the IRS for deceptive marketing and tax code violations regarding the locally held "Sean Hannity Freedom Concerts." (Held in conjunction with a local "news radio station.")
Hopefully the state AG will also make sure the Vets get the money promised them.
Oh please, anyone with a brain knew Gibbons was a plagiarizing wingnut who would be a disaster for this state if he got elected. He has far exceeded even our lowest expectations. Sue Lowden is another one. She's not your typical Republican candidate, she's a wingnut, and she will be a huge embarrassment for this state if she gets elected. Hell, she hasn't even won the primary yet and she's already embarrassing us!

Governor Gibbons is indeed a slime bucket. He should have been bounced out of office quite a while ago. Every decision he does is for himself only. Either that or it's along party lines. If it involves doing something right, he will always make the decision along party lines and disregard common sense. He's so incompetent, he can't even figure out how to effectively hide his girlfriend out of sight from news cameras at Reno Airport.
I can't wait for this guy to get dumped.
Fact is we here in Nevada do not have good leaders...They are all awful and need to be ousted...Gibbons is terrible...he has done nothing...his record speaks for itself and it is time to wave goodbye....Geez sounds like I am talking about a number of Politicians here...
Thank your legislature for keeping him in there. Rory, Sandoval, Berkely and all the other clowns of yours did nothing to kick him out. He remained there the whole time screwing up your state. Sandoval hopped from job to job and Reid was messing up your county and letting firefighters get paid 200k a year while the people he wants to represent now are unemployed, losing their homes and broke. Good job Nevadans.

DHVincent and other Gibbons defenders, please address this matter for me. Chrissy Mazzeo claims Gibbons tried to assault her. Gibbons claims he was just trying to help her get to her car. Neither disputes that she had been drinking.
So, which is he, a man who tries to assault women, or a man who tries to help drunken people get behind the wheel of their car so they can drive?

Gibbons might be not be the best (okay, he's bad) but putting Arnold Schwarzenegger on that list really does make you wonder. Even my wife, who is a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat admits that Schwarzenegger has been pretty damn decent.

Governor Gibbons is just one of many Republicans that have destroyed their party in Nevada.
As another example, it was reported that during a campaign speech in Las Vegas for Mr. Tarkanian, one of the female attendees out in the audience went up to Mr. Tarkanian's wife and asked...
"If he gets elected, do you think he can keep it in his pants?"
The Republicans basically need to go away and wander around for awhile; kept away from any elected office, even Dogcatcher General of Nevada. At least til they figure out how best to serve the people....and not themselves.
