Police: Missing NLV man possibly armed, suicidal
Monday, April 19, 2010 | 4:56 p.m.
Police are searching for a missing 58-year-old North Las Vegas man who is considered to be armed and suicidal.
North Las Vegas Police spokesman Tim Bedwell said Jerald Michael Fisher was last seen at his home in the 5100 block of Coral Beach Street at 8:30 p.m. April 7. Authorities said he left with a firearm and might be suicidal.
Police said Fisher is a diabetic and shouldn’t be approached due to his mental state. Bedwell said it is unknown if he has any mental illnesses.
Fisher is likely driving a white 2006 Hyundai Elantra with Nevada license plate JMF51. The photo released of Fisher is an old picture; police said he has a beard and mustache now. He is 6-foot tall and has brown eyes and brown hair, authorities said.
Anyone with information is being asked to call detectives at (702) 633-1779 or (702) 633-9111.
