LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Iran should come clean on nuclear intentions

Last week President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty. And this week, 46 nations gathered for a summit in the United States aimed at preventing the spread of atomic weapons to terrorists.

The Iranian government voiced concern that it was not invited to this summit and that it was deliberately sidelined. If Iran continues to ignore the world by not disclosing its real intentions for its nuclear ambitions, it can expect this kind of reaction from world leaders.

Iran should come clean and let its nuclear sites be inspected and prove, as it claims, that its nuclear ambitions are for peaceful uses only.
