It’s official: Holly Madison and Benji Madden are back together again, and their romance is in full swing. This was the weekend they really went public with their love match. The platinum blonde Peepshow beauty and the Good Charlotte rocker were inseparable as they turned up everywhere hand in hand.
Their dating spree began Thursday when gossip blogger Perez Hilton celebrated his 32nd birthday at Tao’s weekly Worship Party in The Venetian. After hamming it up on the red carpet, Perez, the self-described Queen of All Media, dined with friends at Tao. He was surprised with a custom cake modeled after his dog Teddy. New Caesars Palace headliner Matt Goss was the first to stop by with Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin to help Perez blow out the candles.
Up in the nightclub’s moat section skybox, the party grew as Holly arrived with Benji, best friend Laura Croft and co-star Josh Strickland. Cacee Cobb, who can currently be seen with Jessica Simpson in VH1’s Price of Beauty, arrived with boyfriend Scrubs star Donald Faison and joined the party. Holly brought gifts of her own designed Vegas Vixen T-shirts for everybody.
Holly, Benji and his twin brother Joel Madden also turned up as midnight guests of executive chef Barry Dakake at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms before hitting The Playboy Club in the Palms, where they joined pro skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon.
The Madden family, including father Roger Combs and brother Josh Madden, was out in force to support Benji in his Ellis Mania 5 boxing match at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night, when he was declared the winner after knocking out Riki Rachtman of MTV’s Headbangers Ball fame. Holly and her girlfriends wore Team Benji shirts to cheer him on. Joel served as his corner man for the fight. (Our thanks to Cody Boor for the photos!) Also at the fight were M Shadows, lead singer of Avenge Sevenfold, and skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
After the main event, Holly and Benji celebrated the win at Wasted Space. My spywitness there emailed me to say that they partied together for several hours and left the Hard Rock Hotel in the early morning hours hand in hand. The next day, they had a late sushi lunch at chef Kerry Simon’s restaurant Simon in Palms Place before heading to the Palms for drinks in the afternoon sun with a group of Holly’s gal pals.
Saturday night after her Peepshow performance, Holly and Benji were arm in arm again at XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore and settled into a VIP booth just above the dance floor.
One of Holly’s friends said: “They are a perfect match together. They are both very happy with each other. Now that Benji has this DJ residency at Moon in the Palms on Tuesday nights, you can expect to see them together even more in Las Vegas.”
HOLLY HOSTS BACHELORETTE AUCTION
Holly on late Friday afternoon hosted the 3rd Annual Smokin’ Hot Bachelorette Auction in Ghostbar at the Palms, and our contributing photographer Scott Harrison was atop the casino hotel for the lively and competitive bidding.
