Marjorie Ann Iverson, 74, passed away on Sept. 24. She was a resident of Boulder City for 29 years.

She was born March 26, 1935, in Beaver Falls, Pa., to George and Mary McGraw. The family moved from Youngstown, Ohio, to Southern California when she was young.

She graduated from Pomona Catholic High School in 1953 and entered X-ray training at San Antonio Hospital in Upland, Calif., where she graduated as a registered X-ray technician. She was the second X-ray technician to work at the new Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Marge also held the chief X-ray technician position at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs, Calif.

She married William Iverson in Las Vegas on July 11, 1964. Together they lived in Riverside, Calif., Flagstaff, Ariz., and Rawlins, Wyo.

In 1980 they moved to Boulder City and co-owned and managed Villa Borega Mobile Home Community in Las Vegas for 18 years. She served as President of the Nevada Mobile Home Owners Association for a number of years before retiring in 1998.

Marjorie was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Boulder City and was Sorority Lady of the Year in 1988. She also enjoyed oil painting for many years.

She is survived by her husband, William C. Iverson of Boulder City; daughter Mary Grace Iverson and son William M. Iverson, both of Boulder City; grandson Matthew Iverson of Boulder City and granddaughter Delaney Dayton of Henderson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 248-2770.

The family invites friends to attend a Mass to celebrate her life at St. Andrews Catholic Community, 1399 San Felipe Drive, in Boulder City, at 11 a.m. Oct. 6.

Boulder City Mortuary handled the arrangements.
